Last Class

There was a last IE core class yesterday.
I was very glad that I could finish from IE I to IE Ⅲ,
and at the same time I miss this class, Mr Armstrong
and my classmates. In IE Ⅲ, we discussed about news
every week. It was very hard for me to be a discussion leader
every week. But through this class, I could very big improve
not only my English skills but also myselfe. Before I was late
for class many times. Mr Armstrong warned me whenever I
was late. Thanks to this, I deceded that I wasn't late for school.
I wrote about it in blog. After that, I wasn't late for school!
I could learn that it's important to keep my promise.

Lastly, Mr Armstrong and my classmates, thank you, thank you!

Do you have a favorite artist? Ihave. I like Japanese rock music because I was a vocalist with a guitar in a band when I was 13 to 18 years old.
My favorite music is rock and the best band for me is JanneDaArc.
The group includes five members, vocal, guitar, bass, drums and keyboard. Common visual music is very heavy music and voice, however, music of JanneDaArc has heavy music and clean high tone voice. This mixture creates great song. I am junkie of this band.

I play lacrosse, and lacrosse is so hot and violent sports.
Lacrosse is the sport that players scramble for a ball with a stick that is called "cross", and they compete the score by putting the ball in the goal. also, players may put pressure on the enemy by using cross, so it looks like the American Football or Ice Hockey.
Tackle is permitted within a radius of three yards of the player who carries the ball.
In short, lacrosse is very hot sports, so everyone should show lacrosse game.
Om 29th August, Aoyama Gakuin University play a match with Teikyo University.
We'll do our best!!

Summer Vacation

Now I am very busy because there are homework and reports which I must submit instead of final tests. However I do hardly for spending summer vacation comfortably.
I will go to summer festival in August with a friend. I didn’t meet the friend for a while, so I look forward to meet her. And then I will go to watch “The Borrower Arrietty” and see The Borrower Arrietty & Yohei Taneda exhibition. Moreover I think that I must study English for summer vacation and take TOEIC.
Maybe when I am third-year student, I will don’t have time. Therefore, I want to enjoy this summer vacation.

I love movies and books, but I also love comics. I'm proud of Japanese culuture in animation.

I want you to know well about the attraction of comic.

One of the most exciting comic is The drowned knife. I never read this book without crying and heartache. This is love story, but I cannot include this book in other uncountable comics.

A heroine's name is Ayame, and a hero is Kou. The boy is brilliant for the girl. There was no man but feel something attractive from the boy, and Ayame was not exception. They are only twelve years old, and the story went through their once period.

Nobody knew that she was really cherish for him, but I made sure that there were a little signal of his slight love to her. After all, when they entered the junior high school, they parted from each other despite they surely spent same period together with something special.

Kou is very attractive boy in his elementary school days, but his great aura was decreasing as he grows up. Every person who like or want to talk with him became have farer a field of vision, however, the only girl Ayame was feeling something from him. She had no idea that her e forward to the next development. motion is whether pure her love or a wedge of their past. Oppositely, a boy who had average impression became smart and cool as he mature. I specially like this situation. I think this circumstance has much reality.

This story have not completed for author’s pregnant, in the other word, this novel is to be continued. I am looking forward the depertment!

Yesterday I watched an interesting video, so let me introduce it!

It shows us the key points to be a perfect girlfriend. The points divided into 7 steps, and each of them is very important. Step 1 is to relax your standards. The perfect girlfriend is not like a plastic doll, so let your guard down. If you do, the boyfriend will feel comfortable in your presence. Step 2 is to make efforts. You should dress up special and attractive sometimes. Step 3 is to message his ego. The male ego is fragile and strong so that you must tell him as useful and great to respect him. Step 4 is to feed him. As you know, all men like to eat. If your boyfriend is hungry, you had better suggest meats than salad. Step5 is to give him space. Today I would like to talk about The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. This story is too famous to explain, so I just write what I thougt after reading.

The theme of this story is “Just wishing cannot change anything.” As Dorothy and even company of her, you tend to do nothing but desire. To make matters worse, you often envy successful people shutting your eyes to fail to notice your own fault. If you hope something difficult, you should not imagine but take action to come true it.

Besides, it told me that there is no place like home from the finally purpose of the story is to go back home. In my childhood, I often tried to run away from home because of trifling reason, but I never do that now because I realize the happiness of having home.

Moreover, I found the important fact that I should believe my power before I depend on others. For the lion, he did not take notice of his courage and relied on the wizard of Oz. I also often jump to a conclusion that “I can do it, but I cannot do that.” After my reading this book, I want to change my idea of this.

I must not give up before trial!!

The rainy season has ended, and it was very hot on last weekend.
We are having a succession of hot days.
The temperature went above thirty in all region of Japan.
I got a good tan, deep tanned, because of this fierce heat.

24hours relay marathon

Good evening!

I took part in 24hours relay marathon on last Suterday and Sunday at the foot of Mt.fuji.
I'm very happy because We won the championship!!!!!!

In fact, we were very hard because of the lack of sleep and exhaustion, but we kept on running and running!

Although we ran neck and neck with the team of waseda univ in the middle of the night, our team reached the goal three 6.4 kilometers ahead of the team.

We had a pleasant champagne fight:)

24hours relay marathon is a very good experience:)

Summer Fesival

I think play is deeply connected to the summer.
in summer, fireworks, summer festival, going to sea, etc....

In this summer, I have lot of things to do but those attractive things mislead me.

The rainy season is over. So I feel happy!!!

For the Summer Vacation

Summer vacation is almost there.
A lot of money fly away during the summer vacation.
So I am earning money from the part-time job.

I had a test today.
I think it was OK.
I have test tomorrow too.
Some of my friends in other universities are already in the summer vacation.
My last test is on August 5th.
It is the last day of the test term.
It is awful.

World Cup

Last week, the World Cup ended.
The final was Netherland vs. Spain.
I was cheering for Spain.
The game was 0-0 for 90 minutes, so it went into overtime.
Iniesta(spanish player) scored in 116minutes.
Spain won the World Cup.
It was a very great game.

Summer

Recently, it is very hot.
I played soccer yesterday but i got sunburned.
I want to go to the sea nut I have to study for the test.
Also I have many reports to hand in.
So it is not sumer yet for me.

Good morning!
It's fine day so I'm really happy!

Last weekend, I went to Tapas-Tapas in Machida with my club members.
Do you know Tapas-Tapas? This is Italian restaurant and we can eat pizza and spagetti as we like.
I ate too much..but I could enjoy that time:)

Tomorrow is last day of IE core class. I'm sad..
But I also feel happy because tomorrow is my birthday!

Odoru Daisosasen3

On Saturday, I went to watching movie, “Odoru Daisosasen3”
It had little subtle points, but it was interesting.
A work I first watched of “Odoru Daisosasen” series was “Odoru Daisosasen the movie 1”. Taking advantage of watching it, I took liking to the series. These works are constituted well. They have funny scenes and serious scenes. Moreover many characters are good. Especially, I like Syunsaku Aoshima. His trying to stick to his and companies’ beliefs is very cool, and I sympathize with it.
I want to watch the series at leisure.

Small Travel

Hello again:)
I'm going to go to Osaka with a friend of mine for the summer vacation!!
It is the first time to go to there. We consult where we will visit for two days.
Please teach me if you have a recommended place in Osaka but Universal Studio Japan(^-^)/

So, I've been interested in it.

The application called TomTom is $100.
TomTom is the application to navigate us.
It has many functions but in fact it is not so useful.
I was surprised because the application is so expensive!!!
I have the free navigation application in my cellphone.

Summer Festival

Today summer festival are held near my house.
It seems that the whole town is in a festival mood.

Hello again^^
The rainy season in Japan finished and summer has come. I'd like to go to lots of enjoyable spots, for instance the sea. However, I can't wear swimwear because I got fat. That's why I decided to do exercises. First of all, I registered the fitness center at the university and I went there to do exercises yesterday. I did running and cycling for about an hour. I really got tired and sweated, but I felt refreshed after finishing exercises. I will work hard to lose my weight until summer vacation begin.

In this video, the old man tries to invent colored print on TV. He works hard every day. At the same time, his wife gets illness. However, he don't notice it because he concentrates on his invention. Finally, he can complete his invention but his wife dies.
I think the theme of this movie is to get everything is impossible. I mean we lose something precious when we can get something we want. However, now, the improvement of technology is necessity in our life. I was moved by this movie and this movie made me think a lot of things deeply.

Looking back

It feels weird not having the usual Friday IE3 lesson!! Its probably because I miss it. Anyway looking back to it, it was such a nice time! I think everyone agrees to what I mean. The blog, media presentation, book report, all of it was "bloody" hard work although it made me use English into a everyday habit, which I believe improved my English overall. I love communicating with people, so I don't have any problem in "speaking" English, however when it comes to "written" English... omg it was shocking. I got annoyed because I couldn't express my feelings on paper where telling them face to face was so easy. I believe and I'm pretty confident now, my English has improved and so as everybody else, now after attending the IE3 core! Good mates, nice teacher, I hope to keep in touch with! Thanks, Kosuke.

I would like to talk about the Movie, Sex and the City.

The movie has four main characters, which are women around 40 years old, named Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha Jones. Carrie writes some columns about love and publishes some books, but she is single. Charlotte has a heavy distress of absence of pregnancy. She once divorced because of it. Miranda is very competent lawyer and has much money, but she suffers from her high pride. Samantha loves sex so much that she cannot continue to contact one boyfriend, but now she is making effort to go together with a younger boyfriend in the long term.

All of them had a big problem, but they could overcome it at the end.

Carrie succeeded in marriage to Big who is her ideal man to marry to. He had divorced twice before that, and betrayed her terribly due to it. However, he could overcome his past and Carrie also could forgive him. In the case of the other women, Charlotte could be pregnant, Miranda got a mild manner thanks to her husband, and Samantha decided to go her way.

World Cup

Last day, World cup, which is one of the most exciting events, finished.
From beginning, I watched a lot of games and because of this, sometime I was late for the class because the time of game was in the night. I am a little happy now because I have far less woriness about being late! However, I really feel lonliness because I could never watch the match.

A midnight summer dream

I am in professor Sakuma's beginning seminar. One of the reason I enter Aoyama Gakuin University is he is in the university. He studies about play. He loves "Gekidanshiki". I love musical, too. So, I decided to belong in the seminar. Yesterday, all classmate in his beginning seminar do plays which title is "A midnight summer dream". It is one of the famous works written by Shakespeare. I played the role of Herena. In the play, there are four people. Herena loves Demetrius, but he doesn't like Herena and he loves Hermia. However, Hermia loves Lysander and he loves Hermia, too. Herena isn't loved Demetrius, so I have to act chasing him any time. It was hard for me to do plays, but it becomes good memories for me. I gotta go, see you.

World Cup

Today, FIFA World Cup finished. I feel it was very long. However, every game was very exciting and powerful. Especially, Japanese games were more exciting and suspenseful. Therefore its finishing was lonely. During this period, an octopus became famous because it can foresee the winner of games. And then, all the prediction had come true. It was great phenomenon and I wondered how it can foresee them.

Today, i wanna talk about my club, ESS!!

In my club, there are 4 sections, discussion, speech, guide, and debate.
i belong to the discussion section.

the reason why i decided discussion is that i really love exchanging the idea with many people.

Maybe you guys think discussion is very similar with debate.
however the most different point between them is whether we can exchange our ideas fleely or not.

In discussion, we can show our ideas with no limited time, and have no stable stance.
In debare, on the other hand, we cannot change our stance, and we have limited time to speak.
debete is something like a game.

i do want to share or exchange our values fleely, and i did not do games cancerning exchanging ideas.

then i decided discussion, and i really enjoy it very much.
in summer, we have a camp, and in autum, we have the Kansai expedition!!

In meetiong, we discuss with many participants from various universities.
so i have many frionds in many universities.

i will keep practicing discussion hard to be the best discussant!!

The act of circle .

On Sunday, there was a act of my circle, which was a mini concert in the circle. My circle is one treating Japanese musical instrument. This year many new student entered the circle, so the mini concert made lively and fun. In the concert, I conducted an ensemble with a member who played the koto. It was difficult, especially little song. Moreover because I became tense, my hand was shaking during performance. However after I finished to play it, I felt fun. I want to continue to play enjoyfully.

AKB48

Today I'd like to talk about my hobby. I like AKB48.
Do you know AKB48? I think everyone may know it.
AKB48 are group which are produced by Akimoto Yasushi
in 2005. The group gave a show every day in AKB48
theater, but member of the group are changed.
I like Oshima Yuko especially! She is so cute and perfect
girl for me. If I have a chance, I 'd like to go to see AKB48.

Interviewing

I was interviewed for a part-time job last week.
The job is walking sales of icecream in the amusement park.
It is highly competitive, in fact, all of applicant is 200 people and just be employed 4 persons!!
The magnification is 50 times(++;)
The interview form was a group interview, so I think that I had a great experience even if I am not employed:)

About my discussion life

I came back home now. I practiced to discuss with
freshman. We talked about management issues, especially
postal privatization! It was very difficult topics for me to
concider that which was a better situation privatization or
nationalization. So I always think about it. Freshman did
their best to discuss about the issues!

Lacrosse League Game

Last week, a public drawing to determine tournament match ups was held in Lacrosse. Aoyama Gakuin University is the second division in the league.
We practice very hard to go up to the first division in the league.
The first game is 29th August. The opponent is Teikyo University.
If we can win in the first match, we would be favorable terms.
First of all, we train at a camp in this league for a one week on 6th August.
We want to grow up our condition in this training camp.
I'll do my best!

World Cup Finished

Yesterday, FIFA World Cup finished. The match in final is Netherlands versus Spain. This game had the looking bearing very much. Iniesuta sank a shot in the latter half of extra innings, and Spain winned the World Cup. Spain is the first victory. MVP is Forlan in Paraguay, and the winner of the title for most goals scored is four persons. This championship was so pleasant, because Japan National Team achieved a great leap forward. After the World Cup finished, many japan players go to foreign countries. Next World Cup is going to be held in Brazil. I'm looking forward to win Japan in next world Cup.

After graduation

These days, I often think about my future and my course after graduation. In my part-time jobs, four grade students teach me about their employment. I have taken teacher course since this year to be a high school teacher. But while listening various kinds of talk about jobs from my seniors, I came to think my future seriously. And we have to decide what we want to learn in details when become third grade student. The time when we have to consider what we would
like to be might come gradually for us... I'm going to experience many things during relative much time to broaden my horizon!

I didn't want to go to shopping in particular, but when I passed and saw some sign of sale, so I ended up buying my clothes.

I return to my hometown!

This week, there are some make-up classes, but I don't have to attend them.
That is why I'm going to return to my hometown, Sapporo.
As you know, Sapporo doesn't have rainy season(Tsuyu).
So, it is comfortable to livethere.
In Sapporo, there are many delicious foods.
Whenever I go back there, I get weight・・・　lol

First Election

Yesterday, the election of the house of Councilors was conduct. So I went to the nearest elementary school to vote. I didn't understand japanese politics at all, so I hestiated to vote, but my parents adviced me to do. I checked homepage of this election and went to vote. I’m ashamed that I don't know japanese politics at all, so I will try to read newspaper and to watch news.

My recent favorite book

I am crazy about a book soukyuunosubaru written by Asada Jiro rec entry. It is the third grade of high-school when I read the book for the first time. It was recommended by the teacher of the ancient writing of the high school But when I read first the book, I got tired at once and read only about forty page. I happened to have a chance to read the book again last week and found it very interesting. The setting in this novel is China about two hundred years ago. It is a success story that a poor boy became a emperor's aide. The structure is very skillful and always makes me exited. I still read second volumes out of four. But this book is certainly my one of best book! I think it very good to read Japanese book in the interval of reading English book once in a while.

Sulm Dunk

Good afternoon.
It rains on and off today. I'm little tired, but I want to try to be cheerful.

I had 4 tests and some reports last week. It was hard for me, but I did my best.
Last weekend, having no homework, I read Slum Dunk for my first time. I had never read this comic. I was surprised because this comic really excited and moved me. I came to know why this comic is famous and popular. I like book more than comic, but I can really enojoyed Slum Dunk.

My boyfriend is my mother! This is a long-distance love affair.
I really think so! That's because we call everyday at least two times.
On a holiday we speak on the call phone for an hour.
She love me so much, I know. I love her, too!
When I have a trouble, I absolutely tell her all at first.
Even if the subject is love, friends or unsuitable to talk with my mother, I tell her all of my occurrences!

It is very humid, today;(

Yesterday, I went to early voting. This year is the first vote, so I read the news paper and compared which party is enough to vote.
The voting was easier than thinking because it ended unexpectedly smooth, and very fast.

University Student Forever...

I hope to be a university student forever.
Recently I'm really afraid of spending time is so fast.
It seems as if I came to here this year.
Now I feel happy because I can do whatever I like because we have much time during the university student. However my time is left only two years and a half.
I'm so sad to consider this fact!!! I strongly wish to be a university student forever...

Almost end of term

I miss I.E core members . I had a great time working and studying with them. I think I really improved my speaking skills through this lesson, and learned a lot from media presentation and the book report. But I'm so glad that many of the members are in the same I.E. seminar the next term. But before that I'll do my best in test...lol

I would like to talk about bananafish.
Do you know bananafish? It is a fish which was expressed by Salinger. It is a fictitious fish and likes banana.
Do you believe the existence of this creature? I cannot believe this because this fish is out of touch with reality. However it is very interesting, I think.
In reading class, we must hand in a paper about bananafish. So I think of bananafish now.

How Much Monery Do You Earn?

Every month I make about fifty thousand yen from part-time job, but my earning is not enough for me now. I really want to save money to go study abroad next spring vacation.
Moreover I'm going to go another school in second semester, so I need much money.
I feel that when I have money, I need times really!

Every Morning

I can't wake up in the morning. Actually I try to wake up until at six, but I can't.
I set the telephone alarms at least three times. However I don't remember when the three alarms go off. To tell the truth, my mother call me many times from Ibaraki which is my hometown. I feel sorry for her because even if she try to call many times, I catch her calls, tell a lie "I just wake up, Thank you ,See you!" and I go to sleep again....

I caught cold. so, I have a sore throat!!!
when I swallow, my throat hurts. I am worried about today's presentation, because I have lost my voice!! Each time I go home, I rinse my mouth. But, I can't get rid of cold.

I can't believe that this IE class is almost over.
I loved being in this class so it's just too sad.
Final exams are getting closer and I'm really nervous.
I have no clue how the tests in universities are, and I haven't studied hard for a couple of months so I'm not sure if I can concentrate in studying.
I have 8 tests and my last one is on August 3.
I hope I will be able to pass all of them!

Oh, and I'm excited for tomorrow's class.
I wonder how other groups are going to do their presentation.

Taylor Swift

Today I'd like to talk about my favorite singer, Taylor Swift.
She is an American country pop singer. She released her album
twice. Her debut single is Tim McGraw, second single is Fearless
which sold about 2.1 and 1.5 million. She was named Artist of the
year in 2009. Moreover Fearless won the Gramy Award for Album
of the year in 2010!!! It was 20 years old that she got a prize.
I was very surprised to hear it. I like her lyrics! For example,
"Every time you smile, I smile. And every time you shine, I'll shine
for you" in Jump Then Fall. Her lyrics represents girl's feeling.
I sympathize her lyrics, so I really love her.

2nd book report

My 2nd book report was about "A Clockwork Orange". This work includes not the psychology of a boy who commits so many crimes such as rapes, violence and robbery, but the psychology of the government which takes evil actions (more evil than childish misbehaviors) to stop young hooligans from filling England with sins and harms in 70's. I chose this one because I like the film version of it, and the content of this story was so profound that young people would love to read it once in a lifetime. Honestly, I guess the book was hard to read all, for the characters used the Russian slang called"nadsat" (I couldn't figure out how their conversation was going on). But I recommend the movie; if you can stand watching the violent scene in it.

Perfume

I like to write about the book I chose for my final book report. The book I chose is called"Perfume". It was a very wonderful book, it's about a man with a very strange obsession. The plot is very interesting and I recommend everyone to read it one time.The film was really real and grotesque. It was the kind of film I have never watched.

We often use YouTube.
I think it is very useful site because we can watch a lot of videos around the world for free.
Some people download the video on the site and put into own iPod.
In fact, I have downloaded some videos.
But, it is not so good because people don't buy CD.
Some record companies are worried about financial deficit.
So, it is a difficult problem.
We should have moral and use YouTube.

Oliver Twist

I chose Oliver Twist for my 2nd book report.

Oliver Twist was made into some movies.
I think differences between each movies are very interesting.
One is musical. So this is more positive than the original story. And this is happy ending! So I felt happy and could enjoy it.
Another one is about human relationship. This movie make point of relationship between Fagin and Oliver, and not happy ending. I felt nervous after watching this movie.
This differences are very interesting! :)

And novels of Charles Dickens are attractive because of interesting personalities of all characters.
Maybe you really enjoy Charles Dickens' novels.

HI! Do you guys have a good time today? Today is The Star festival, which is Tanabata in Japan.
Only the day is that The prince (Hikobosi) and The princes (Orihime) can meet and spend a time together. It's romantic, isn't? And from the past, it has been said if we wish something in 7/7, it certainly will come true. So, I wanna know what is your wish! My wish is to be healthy and have a good time with everybody for a long time.

In this movie, the old man made an effort to make a color movie.
However, it was too dificult to make it.
he became crazy about his job, and did not care about his wife.

Yesterday, I went to one day part-time job. I went to a cram school for elementary school students and I worked as a test proctor. It was easy work that I handed out test for each student and collected tests by the end of the test time. They provided all proctors lunches and drinks. I didn't get tired even I worked for a whole day.

Therefore, it will be popular to use e-book in many countries, but in fact, I like smell of books, and weight of books give me a feeling of achievement when I finish reading.
The service of e-book is very convenience, but also I want a paper of book not to decrease.

Hi everyone! Recently, I don't know why but I can't sleep and wake up properly. So, I 'm little worried about this problem.;0; Anyway, I feel sad because test's season will come soon. When I was 3 grade in high school, what is called "Jukensei". I was devoted to studying. Now that I can't believe it. And I don't have enough concentration. e-book

I think E-book is very convenient because we can buy books that we want to read everytime and everywhere and it does not take much space. And it is also good for the environment, for it does not use paper and ink, needs only electricity!

However, we cannot enjoy the texture of the book when we read with E-book, I think turning pages and touching paper are one of the enjoyment of reading books.

But I want to have one. It's really convenient!!!

24hours marathon

Hi! Doyou know 24 hours marathon?
I am going to take part in this event on 17th and 18th July.
24 hours marathon is the kind of ekiden that more than 10 runners run and conect their sash throuth 24 hours. Therefore this event is very very very severe, but tie of team will be stronger and we will be able to get great achievement:)

These days, many students have a cold. How are you!? I have a cold now:( So I feel sluggish. Although I have a cold, I had to work on Friday and Saturday so it was very hard and my voice was faint.
I think there are 3 reasons that I have a cold. First I slept without drying my hair. Second bath was broken, so we couldn't hot water but cold water. Finally these days I woke up late.

I read Animal Farm by George Orwell.
To be honest, I don't like reading books so mach.
But, I could enjoyed reading the book!
Last time, I read The catcher in the rye for book report.
It was a little difficult to understand for me.

We drank beerwhile walking.
We met other friends there.
It was very fun.

I'm for e-books. I wish I have a gadget that has that sort of applications...why?
That's probably my room is just full of books! there is nothing but books! I just wish I could clean them out and place another alternative.
Another reason is that books (especially books that are for our classes) are heavy and of course expensive. This term for my reading class I had to buy a 3000yen book at the university store that was like 0.5 kilos. I was not amused of the contents and when I saw at amazon. it was 2000yen. Talk about scam!
If e- books were more popular I think we could avoid such problems but...I'm just worried about one problem. e- books are mere data, so one press of a button could make painful results...Like deleting it.

And yes, I was a bit busy last week...I would try to retrive what I have not done.

E-books

The e-books we talked about last Friday were kind of cool.
I thought I'd like to have one if it does come out. Also if its cheap,lol.
It's very ecological, like Dr.Armstrong has said.
There are so many wasted books in the world, so it would be great if we could save trees by spreading e-books worldwide.

Also I thought the idea of printing the book at the bookstore is a really cool idea.
Since it saves the money for shipping or importing, we could sell the books at a low price, and maybe more people would want to buy it.

Anyways, I think young people would read books if e-books come out, just for the fun of it.
But still, I think it's better than not reading books at all.

Guide

I walked on a street with my friend around Shinjuku
Station yesterday. Then, foreigner talked to us.
Man said to us, "I want to go to the metropolitan
government offfice from here.But I lose my way.
Can you tell me the way to the metropolitan
government office?". We decided to guide the way,
because we also planed to go to the place near it.
While we walked, we talked with man.
He came Japan to sight seeing with his family and had
two daughters who were colledge students. He liked
Japanese culture, food and nature. He never tried to eat
natto. So I reccomended him it!!

I practice to speak English by my class and ESS. So I
could enjoy conversation with him. I also thought that
I wanted to improve my English skills.

e-books

Actually, I have never used e-books. Though I think it is great.
Books take space to keep, and lots of paper is needed to publish books.
E-books doesn't take space, and what's more, it is easy on the environment.
However, as Akane said, things that we have from long long ago are very valuable.
Not just books but also newspapers, or radios.
I thinks your eyes will get tires if you read things on screen for a long time, and it's true that it saves paper, but instead, it uses a lot of electricity.
Also, I'm not sure if the writer of the book will feel good if their story is read on screen.
I think it's a great idea but I hope paper books will exist forever.

I have a bad cold, I'm sneezing every 2 minutes and I can't breathe from my nose! :( I'm at the computer lab because the internet at home stopped working for some reason. What a bad timing!
Anyways, I'm going to write about e-books. Yes sure, e-books are convinient and new. You don't have to carry a book in addition to your cellphones and wallets. But in this world full of new technologies, I think that some things should be kept the way they are. Reading a story off a paper feels good. The sound of the page flippering and the smell of the old stained paper are things you cannot experience with a book on screen.I also like the saying, 'never judge a book by its cover'. Sayings like this will not make any sense if everything gets converted to e-books since there will be no such thing as the 'book cover' anymore.

Yesterday after school, I played bowling with circle members at Machida. We played total of 3 games. It was really fun. We were divided into 4 groups and competed the total group score against other groups. My group got 2nd highest scores and got prizes. Some members started going home after 9pm because they wanted to be ready for the soccer game. So we threw balls more times than our turns to fill up their scores. It was really great that I've got to know more about members. There was a guy who just came back from study abroad in the US. He had stayed closer to where I had lived so I was happy to hear and talk about the city. Plus I started to miss my life in there.

I write about E-book.e-book is very useful.
　　　First, it is so portable. If you download e-book in your cell phone or PC, wherever you are, you can read e-book.
　　　Second, e-book is cheaper than ordinary book. E-book is reasonable. It doesn't cost money because of not using paper and ink.

E-books is very interesting system, I think. Everyone who uses e-book can read many books everywhere. Now, we have to bring heavy text books to college because we use them in classes. However if we use e-book, we have to bring only mobile phone. It's very convinient.
But, I don't agree with using e-books. I like to read paper books. Reading thick books has a sense of achievement. And e-books can make people's eyes have poor vision.
I think we should use this tool properly.

Yesterday, I watched a movie, "In Cold Blood", which was made in 1967 based on the book I chose for my book report. All scenes were monochrome and it made this film more horrible. As the original book, the film showed how horrible and weak human is and the words in this movie was impressing.

FIFA World Cup

Did you watch the soccer game, Japan versus Paraguay, yesterday?
It was so exciting and I felt nervous.
The Japan team lost a game so I was so regrettable but I think it is wonderful that the Japan team could advance to the finals and was accepted into best 16.

I hope that after 4 years, the Japan team advance to the finals again and become best 8.

By the way, I would like to talk about E-book.

Recently, technology is amazingly developing day by day in any kind of areas such as medicals, industrials and genetics. Because this speed of developing is too fast, we can not catch up completely. Even if you get accustomed to a new technology, when you can be accustomed to it, a newer one will be spreaded. It seems a rat race to me. Therefore I do not lloke it so much.

These development of technology sounds wonderful but I never think all people will use it because of the cost, influence on eyes and addiction on it.
Newer technological thing is always expensive. Moreover using these electorical instrument will lead to health problem such as eye disorder. Furthermore, user has tendency to use it all time and has less oppurtunity to communicate with others.

We should focus on these negative side of it.

E-book!

I forgot to write about this topic!
E-book is interesting! I really feel technology is developing endlessly.
However sometime I 'm be afraid of developing everything next to next.
To invent or develop something means to change the new one.
The old things are threw away and the new things are admired.
People tend to forget the attractions of old things after appearing the new things.

Maybe many devotees of books love paper books. I think paper book is easy to skip pages, mark something you want to write and better for eyes than E-books.
On the other hand, E-book is more cheap and light than paper books, kind to environmental and portable thing.
Both of book are great! Yes, we should use the each book cleverly at that time.

E-books – sounds interesting doesn't it?? Reading other peoples comment on the blogs, I think it is the time now to launch properly and promote the E-books throughout Japan and make the "microwave phenomenon" happen again!!
My dad works for Sony, and I knew about the gadget since long ago. The problem for Sony is… They've got the cool hardware but the software doesn't catch up with the product. PS3 is a typical one, its absolutely great and its limit is not only restricted to game use, there are several ways in which to maximise the use of it, such as access to the Internet, use it as a TV, the next generation piece of machine is a great product but there aren't enough “big names” in terms of the software. I think this applies to the E-book as well.
However, now publishers more aware of the new style books, I think within two or three years, E-books would probably be the main supply of books. If we could use the E-books instead of the heavy and ugly looking text books, not only would it would be good for the environment, but it'll look cool, and show it off to the public so there would be more students applying to Aogaku!

David Copperfield

Good morning everyone!! Summer vacation will start from 6 August. But before summer vacation, we have tests and before tests we have to finish book report. I already have read the book and I have watched the movie, so I'll start to write report.
Anyway, do you know the movie of David Copperfield? The main character who name is David Copperfield is played by Daniel Radcliffe. Daniel is famous actor because he played the main character in Harry potter series. He played David Copper field before he played Harry Potter. So, I can watch him when he is so young. He played very well since he was young. I was surprised. I think he born to be an actor. I recomend the movie. Anyway, I got to go. See you.

I think e-book is very convinient tool. Especially, it is appealing that we can go to school without many heavy textbooks. In addition, if we use e-book, we don't forget textbooks. Because every textbooks is in your e-book. So, e-book is very useful for students. However, this is just my personal opinion, but I don't like reading letter on screen. Because reading on screen ruin our eyes. So, I know that e-book is very useful tools, but I don't think that e-books become used everyone so easily.

Because of the mis judgement, we can say that England team lost. It is unfortunately for them.

I'd like to write about E-Book. E-book is a very useful and convenient tool. It is able to download some novels. If we have E-book, we can bring to carry some books. In my opinion, we will become easy to live a daily life by the E-book was put on the sale. If we have the E-book, we can read many books only the E-book. According to the survey, the E-book is going to be utilized in the class. In the future, everybody will have E-book. However, because of the E-book, I think that the book store will decrease. I’m interested in to be read book, so I’m very conscious of printed book’s outcome. This phenomenon will happen in Japan, because iPad released in Japan. I'd like to read printed book.

Tomorrow, the world cup game of Japan and Paraguay is going to be held.
Japan played a great game against Denmark.
The nation of people is hoping for Japan's win.

We read about an article about E-books last week.
E-books are books that we can read on computers.
I think it is a very handy tool, but I like to read books by paper.
I rather like paper books because paper books are easy to read in train.
Another reason is that seeing a screen for long time makes my eyes tired.

In our class, I understood how useful they are, but I don’t think it will be used by a lot of people. It is because, you know, it costs to buy the computer. i think they are very convenient, however i do think they have also demerits. Relying on e-books would make your eye sights bad. Also, you would not be able to get the old smell of paper books!! i really like it.

i think the most proper way to use e-books is to use them sometimes but not to depend on them too much.

Sleeping Time

Recently I am always more sleepy than before.
Because I do homework and do other things every night, I don’t have many time of sleeping. In the bad case, I sleep only three hours or four hours. That I work part-time job three times a week makes it worse. As the result of it, I slept for many classes. Moreover there are some reports instead of final exam. Therefore my time will be lost more. I want full rests to sleep more!

E-Books

I want to talk about e-books.
I think that e-books are good thing for the current busy people.
It is very convenient. A paper book takes up space in bag, when we carry it. On the other hand, e-books are easy to carry and read by mobile phone. Now people who read a book decrease, so it would be good result if people who read increased by e-books.
However I prefer paper books to e-books because of liking to read a book, turning over paper. Therefore I don’t want that paper book disappears by spread of e-books.

E-books

I think E-books are very useful. We can read any books at anytime by just having an E-books. Able to download novels on E-books helps us to access to the book easily. If we have E-books, we don't need to go to the book store walking around to look for the book. The companies which produce books don't need to print on the papers so they may provide them at lower price. Also, if they use less papers, the less trees are cut. So it is good for the environment. For me, when I buy a book and finish reading it, it goes to a shelf and stays there forever. I feel it's wasting... same thing for magazine that people buy every month. I'm not a good cleaner so they are filling up the space in my room.

E-books

I think e-books has both advantages and disadvantages.
First, it is easy to carry many books. So, we can read them anytime anywhere.
Moreover, if all books we have are e-books, we don't need bookshelves.
If your room is small and has no space to keep books, you don't have to be worried about it!
You can keep books in your PC or iPad.
Isn't it amazing?
On the other hand, e-books has bad point.
For example, if e-books spread more, paper books will disappear. E-books is cheaper than paper books. So, almost all of people will buy only e-books. it will have great damage to book stores and publishing companies.
That is why I think that it is difficult to genetalize e-books soon.

E-books

I knew E-book first in the last class. I like reading books and paper book because we can write down what we think in the blank. Therefore, I preferred the paper book to E-book after reading about E-book. However, I knew E-book can write in some letters with ease after the research about it. And my anxiety has disappear. I think it very useful to use E-book instead of paper book because E-mail play the role as same paper book now. If the price of the digital book has been down and the variety of the book has increased, I would like to utilize E-book by all means.

music life

After enrollment to the university, I began electric guitar affected by some of my friends. Though I have few chance to play with someone because I don't belong to any circle, I got opportunity to team music band with some friends at last. This is because recently my tension has been increasing longing for performing live as a band member. We gathered to decide the tunes we will play and the band name the day before yesterday. Finally, we couldn't choose the name in spite of spending about three hours... And I have a problem. The problem is that everyone ask me English in tunes or band name because they know I' m majoring in English. Therefore, I must study English more harder!

My Hope For Tanabata

What's the day on 7 July?
The answer is... Tanabata no hi!!
In my dormitory our manager will held the big Tanabata festival.
Japanese usually prepare a bamboo grass and put the paper written their hope to its leaf.
I wrote my wish:
I wanna be nice body and beautiful lady with blond hair like British.
....ha! ha! ha!
Recently I often watch a lot of foreign movies, so the frequency of seeing blond hair girls is higher. Due to this effect, I am longing for a blond hair actually.

World Cup

Tomorrow! It's the big game!! The Japanese A-team are facing Paraguay. Paraguay is ranked the 30th team in the world by FIFA, whereas Japan is positioned 45th. They are strong, fast, individuals are highly skilled, and they work as a great team. However!! Seeing the game versus Denmark, there is always a possibility left for Japan to success! Although Korea lost in the knockout league, I hope Japan will record the best possible results, and if they win against Paraguay, we have the chance to compete Spain or Portugal in a serious national level football, the World Cup!! Everybody sleep well tonight and lets watch the big game tomorrow!

About "E-Books"

Hi everyone. Recently, I consider I try to take TOEFL IBT. So, I bought a text yesterday. However, it is very very difficult for me, especially Listening. I'd like to study abroad in a university life. So, I try to do my best.
Anyway, I read the article about "E-Books". I think E-Books is milestone. Even if you don't have enough money to buy a book which you want, by using a E-books, you can easily read in your computer or cellphone. Japanese people, I think are unlikely to read books or novels. They might be reluctant to buy and spend money on them. But thanks to advent of E-books, a lot of people came to tend to be interested in these system. On the other hand, book industry suffer from selling books. If all people read E-books, it isn't necessary to exist.
But I think E-books is interesting and must contributing to our future.

Meiji Shrine

I went to Meiji Shrine in Harajuku yesterday.
I guided some people from foreign countries. Man who I guided first is from Brazil, so we really enjoyed to talk about World Cup. Another man lived in Kanagawa for 4 years, and he is an English teacher in high school. So he gave me some advice about learning English.

Tokyo is better than the countryside.

My hometown is north of Ibaraki.
There are beautiful sea, a few mountain and even river in my town.
How blessed I am! My hometown have many kind of natures and I can go by walk wherever I want although I was a child.
So I feel happy to born in my hometown and I love there. Therefore I really don't want to come to the university in Tokyo.
However I'm in here.
At first time I always said, Tokyo is good for sightseeing, I know, but not suitable for living!
Yet I am actually satisfied with my life. Tokyo is the center of Japan, and we can get a lot of choice to get jobs, find friends, go shopping, play with my friends. It's so convenient and stimulate a university students like me!
Now I really happy to experience the city life in my youth.

I write about the movie, Kinematograph.
The setting of this movie is 19 centry, because a color film was invented 20 centry.
The story is as follows; An old man try to invent a color movie. But, he can't invent a color movie. He repeats trial and error after another.However, one day , he comes up with the method of making a color movie thanks to his wife's advice. He starts making a color movie.But, he is absorbed in making it and he can't notice her illness. Though he succeeds in making a color movie, she die.
This story is very sad story. The author tell us we sacrifice something to get something.
This movie is so beautiful!!

E-books

Good evening. Two days ago, as everyone knows, Japan won the World Cup game! I woke up at 3 a.m. and watched the game. I was sooooo exited! I'm looking forward to watching the next game on Tuesday.

Next, I will write about the article about E-books.
I have never read E-books, but I know them. I heard that we can read books with iPad. I think this is a good and convenient service because people don't need to carry books with them. However, if E-books increase more and more, paper books may not be sold at all. This is one problem. Book stores and used-book stores cannot continue running. In my opinion, it is better that we can read only some books on the Web.

E-books

I think E-books have a lot of merits. First, we don't have to carry heavy books anymore. E-books will enable us to carry thousands of books! Second, it doesn't have to be printed, so it needs no papers. It is so good for the environment and I think it will contribute for protecting limited resources.

New Family

On Friday night, I went to a drinking party with members of my ex-co-workers at my part-time job. There is two my seniors and one of them told me he was engaged:) It is very greatful things, but also I thought we were already an adult making new our family.Therefore, I was pleased with his success,but I felt saddness too.


To change the subject, I am going to go to watch a game, Japan vs Paraguay!!
I did not watch all of the game, Japan vs Denmark because it was too late to watch as a relay broadcasting on TV. However, the game will start p.m.11, so I can watch it. I am looking forward to watch the game:)

The result was ordinary time for me. To my sadness, I was beaten my rival, but it was very good experience. There are a lot of problems to improve my running. Therefore I'll hang on harder than before.

E-Books

E-books give us a chance which we read books. The more E-books spread, the more we can read. Therefore I agree that E-books spread in Japan and the world.
For Japanese, it is so convenient because we have to carry many books about with us to use in class. Moreover stations are jammed with commuters in morning so by using E-books, we can read books in train.
I don't like reading books but I seem that E-books make me read books. That's why I think that I want to use E-books as much as possible.

Hello:) I will talk about Twitter.
I registered in Twitter last month because I needed to use it for the activity of the student organization which I have joined. I just registered and did nothing in Twitter still recently. However, I started to use it about two weeks ago. There are some friends who also use it and I can see their mumble. It is interesting to see them and mumble myself. I can communicate with my friends on the Internet. There are many sites called SNS such as mixi, facebook and of course Twitter. These sites are amazing but they are quite common for us now. I think people cannot live without technology.

Of course I watched it and so excited.
I was happy because Japan team led to best 16.
However It was a pity that Nakamura couldn't play.
That's why I hope he take part in a game next time.

On June 29, Japan face the Paraguay team in the finals. I want the Japan team to win.

Good evening! I would like to talk about the Japanese TV drama, titled "14 sai no haha".
This title means that the young girl has a baby. The main character is a student of junior high shool, and she fell in love with a boy, who is 15 years old. They loved each other seriously, and when she realized the existence of baby she decided to give birth to a baby. The two family were oppose to it, but her decision was firm. The girl had a lot of heavy difficulties, even the boy aparted from her because of his mother's order. However, she could overcome all of them and had a fine baby. The story ended then, but their story is to be continued.

It is a very great TV drama, let's watch it at least once!

I'm very nervous now..........

Good evening! I'm very nervous now. Because I have a athelete meeting of track and field yesterday. Although I practiced very hard, I'm worried about a lot of thing, for example whether I can run in my established time or not, I can defeat my a rival or not and so on. However I don't waste my effort that I did hard by now, so I wanna try to do my best!!!!!!

i Phone4

On 23 June 2010, iPhone4 was on the sale in Japan.
The body is thinner than normal iPhone.
There are some specialities of new iPhone.
First it has the 5 million pixel camera with flash.
Next, the design of iPhone 4 is completely different from old one.(The body is made of glass and stainless steel.)
It has ability to make a longer phone call than old one.

I have been interested in iPhone, but I didn't know that iPhone4 has so many useful functions.
These days, some friends use iPhone and enjoy using it.
I envy them, but at the same time I'm a little worried about handling it well because I'm not good at using computer and I think downloading application seems to be difficult for me. So, I'd like to gather enough information before I buy iPhone4.

World Cup

Good morning.
Did you watch the yesterday's game of soccer?
I came to Fuchinobe last night, and stayed at my friend's home to watch the game.
We really enjoyed it. Last game was so exciting! Japan won Denmark by 3-1.
All players were really cool. Especially, I like Kawashima. I think man who works hard to do something is very cool.

The Kinematograph

This story is in nineteenth century in Europe and the old couple lived. The man was really struggling to invent the color on films in his small factory and the woman supported him but he didn't notice that so the relationship between the couple didn't go well. He completed his invention but at the same time the women fell tuberculosis and passed away. And finally he noticed the importance of his wife and really regretted. But she never came back.
The future of the story, I think, the invention will be famous and the woman also will prise as a co-worker because she really supported him.

it is sad story but I was really moved. From this movie I recognize the importance of family because they supported me even when I don't notice. I want to cherish my family more.

21th post Kinematograph

I will write about the film we saw last week.
I too think that the setting is based on the early 20 century because of the timeline where the old man makes his invention.
It's a real pity his wife becomes dead at the last scene...sometimes I think it isn't fair god doesn't reward us even after we pay a high price. I think for the old man his wife meant everything for him and I think he would have let his wife go to hospital and also have the money and would even give up all he had done, but because they spent too much time for their invention I think she missed that point.
After the movie I think the old man would lead a very sad life. Argh...reality is a pain.

CASH!!!

My parents finally sent me my monthly allowance two days ago! It was so hard having to live off 250 yen for a week...I can't believe I'm still alive! Today, I went shopping for groceries. The inside of my fridge looks spectacular with vegetables, meat, and drinks! My plan for tonight is to read my book for the book report until three o'clock because thats when the world cup game for Japan vs. Denmark starts! I'm so excited to watch the game and I hope our team plays well!

Kinematography

The short film, 'The Kinematograph' was set right after the beginning of 20th century when such thing as color was not invented on films. The main character was frustrated at the start of the story because he didn't want to publish his film without colors but he couldn't think of a way to add color. However he got really excited and commited to his work after his wife made a suggestion. He couldn't spend much time with her thus he didn't realize that his wife suffered from tuberculosis. Right after he completes his film with colors, his wife dies. His invention spread through the town, but he realizes that he had nothing left now that his loved one is gone for good. I think that in order to create an invention, people must sacrifice something. In this movie, for example, he sacrificed his time he could've spent with his beloved wife.

Hello. On Wednesday, I went to JET, the language of Japanese in Itabashi.
There are a lot of foreign people such as Chinese, Korean, Spanish and so on. I didn't go this kind of school so I was very nervous. However, once I went into the room, they welcomed to me very kindly. So, then my worry and scare went away. While I chatted with them, I noticed that the value of thought wasn't so difference than I thought. After the class, I and my Japanese friends went to eat lunch with these students. It was very very fun ! I was surprised they knew more than I about Japan. If I have a chance, I want to go there again.

I would like to talk about the film we watched the other day.
I think the setting is around 19th century to 20th century.
The old man tries hard to put colors in his movie.
His wife supports him and acts cheerful in front of him even though she doesn't feel well.After all, when he finally acomplishes putting colors in his film and runs down to show her, he finds his wife lying on th floor. She died.
I was very moved by this film. As Mr.Armstrong said, the animation was beautiful.
Actually, I think the main character of this film is the wife. She cared so much about her husband and supported his dreeam despite her illness.I could tell that she loved him so much.I think his invention becomes famous all around the world, and I think that was what his wife's dream too.I thought it was very charming how the couple tries togther to acomplish a dream.

I'm reading Animal Farm for my 2nd book report. It is interesting to read and easy to understand the each event in the story since it was written using animal characters. This novel is an allegory story of Russian Revolution so for my researches I need to know well about Russian Revolution. But since I never learned about it, it is difficult to understand the relationships of the leaders and contents of their each "-ism". When I'm done with reading it, I hope I can link the each event in the novel to the each event that actual happened in Russian Revolution.
