Hi! I watched the movie "Mirage" in today's class.
Summary: the robot, which is I think the main character in this movie, lived in the city of bottom of the sea. He needed water in his stomach in order to survive. However, he didn't have enough water then, so he wandered to try to find water. When he found a pipe which water is in, he desperately tried to get it. But it was very difficult and unfortunately, he fell down on the floor, what was worse, he spilt water in his stomach. But when he looked up, there is a strange fruit filled with water in front of him. He decided to thrust by the pole like straw to get water. Then, he was relieved to fill stomach, but one fish in it were left.
He thought it was about to die without water, so he picked it up in put in his stomach so that the fish could survive. Also at that time, he hit upon the idea they could live more comfortable in the sea. So, he and the fish would get along in the water of the sea.
Setting: in the city of the ocean, in the future world
conflict: robot vs himself, he had to fight with his hanger about water. robot vs himself, he also fight with greed to get water.
symbol: the symbol of this movie is water. It stands for life.
theme: I think the theme is people should cherish the water. Recent people tend to waste too much water. And also, I think people don't be greed anytime. They should share like the robot.
