the Kinematograph

About the Kinematograph:
The setting is around the end of 19th century to the beginning of 20th century. An old man and his wife are living in a village somewhere in European country. The old man is inventing a color cinema projector at home. He only cares about the projector that he doesn't notice his wife has tuberculosis which is a serious disease that may cause her death. When he is succeeded with making a projector he took a short movie of his wife describing how to make a pie. After the success of making a color film, he finds his wife fall down on the floor dead. He sees a film of his wife in a color film and the story ends. I think after his wife's death, he takes his invention to a cinema company to introduce what he has made. If there is no hint from his wife, it is impossible for him to make a color cinema projector so he should thank his wife and give out his invention to all over the world. I think at that time, there are only black and white images on screen so making the screen in colors is a new creation in their society. His wife would be happy to see people watching color films too.
