The character is a robot kike a human. His source of energy is water in his stomach. When he walking around, he dropped his water by mistake and therefore cannot help looking for new water. Though he had a difficult time finding new water, he found a water in the ball like a heart. He hesitated to take water from the ball because there were a fish in the water. However, he finally broke the ball and got water to his stomach. The fish was dying because of lack of water. He took in the fish for his stomach not to die and lived closed together.
I think the theme in this story is the "water". We tend to get what we need from the nature one-sidedly and therefore the nature has gotten weak increasingly. But like the robot in this story, we must not only exploit but also cooperate with the nature. The editor, I think, might try to represent how important we think the nature seriously.
