literary terms of the Oktapodi

setting: a city in Greece, near the sea

conflict: at first, the two octopuses conflicted with the man. at last, they conflicted with a pelican.

climax: the orange and the pink octopus could escape from the man and they felt relieved, but soon after that, the orange one was captured by a pelican.

symbol: the sea is a symbol of peace for the two octopuses. that is because they could regain peace after the man fell into the sea.

irony: the orange octopus tried saving the pink octopus from the man painfully. However, the orange octopus was caught by a pelican in turn.

theme: courage to help the partner and to fight against the enemy. We can know how important it is to save important things.
