Growing a plant

As I got home, my mother gave me a planting kit for some reason today... I just don't know why. She just said that I can grow a plant, so I decided to take care of it. I planted seeds into a tiny cute cup that was included in the kit. Here's the picture below. It looks like a chocolate cup cake!

I asked her what plant it is, but didn't tell me. Instead, she just laughed and said, "Wait until you actually see it!" Well, now I have one more thing to look forward to!
