Setting: The place is Greece. It’s modern
and summer. I can tell it’s modern because of the houses and the car the man
rides in. The weather is clear and the man is wearing what we wear when hot, so
it’s summer.
Conflict: the man (human) vs octopus
Human wants to eat octopuses but they don’t
want to be eaten
Climax: When the octopuses succeed in
escaping from the man’s hand and he falls into the sea with the car.
Symbol: Long and many hands with the sucker
of the octopus represents the mind of not giving up
Irony: Instead of octopuses, the man gets
to the sea. The octopus which tries to help another octopus ended up being
caught by a bird.
Theme: Human who eats meat, fish and
seafood are killing animals.
