How to use a banana in seven unexpected ways

I think the main character in this story is a man who wore checked shirt.
He woke up and got flustered, because his room was in an awful mess.
He had a party at his house the previous day.
His parents was going to visit him at 12:30, so he had to clean his room quickly. Then, a man appeared, and told him to use a banana in unexpected ways.
  1. polish shoes
  2. clean houseplants
  3. polish furniture
  4. soothe a bug bite
  5. erase ink stains from skin
  6. remove scratches from CD
  7. get rid of flies
I think a man had a special knowledge of banana because he used to live in Uganda.
