Also, when you create your user name, please use your real first name, in Romaji (ex. Ryuki, Mari, Lisa, etc.) so that we know who we are communicating with. Enjoy, and Blog on!

Our princess

Our princess turned 102 last week, so I paid a quick visit to her home to celebrate her birthday. She is my biological great-grandma and she lives with my grandma and her husband. Though she has come to spend most of her time on her bed, I got to talk to her this time too. What I got told from her in kansai dialect was not to rush. Even my grandma’s husband heard her saying “I’m sorry.” in English a few days ago, which I was really surprised. I don’t have enough time to see her often, but I’ll try to go see her whenever I have a chance. Risa Aizawa
