Summary
The music video starts with a joyful music on the back ground, and suddenly Childish Gambino shoots the man sitting on the chair. He keeps singing and dancing through out the video in a place like a warehouse with his crew, who are black skinned young students. In the end he is running away like his life is in danger.

Theme
Even though Gambino is a well known performer who has a successful career, he is on of the victims of discrimination towards black people. As an artist, he wanted to show America and the world what actually is happening through his attention attracting music video. He chose to tell it in a unique, fun way but actually he is desperate as you could see in his face at the last running scene. People have to know the present condition before they say something like "we need to make this world better" like it is an easy thing to achieve.
