Literary terms : Oktapodi


Setting : One day in the afternoon in an European country near the sea.

Point of view : Third person

Conflict : A man vs. Two octopuses

Climax : When two octopuses could escape from a man and holded on the rope.

Symbol : The octopus mark of the man's truck indicates that the female octopus will be killed.

Irony : When the man dropped into the sea because he was absorbed in fighting with two octopuses.

Theme : Love is the power that enables someone to accomplish difficult things.
