Oktapodi


The literary terms for oktapodi.

1. setting
Some country near the Mediterranean during the daytime.

2. conflict
Human vs two octopi.

3. climax
When the truck driven by a man falls into the sea.

4. symbol
A knife is a symbol of killing or butchering.
Water is a symbol of life.
A vehicle is a symbol of advanced human technology.

5. irony
After the truck falls into the sea the octopi are feeling relieved hanging on wires.
However, the octopus that rescued the female one gets caught by a seagull, indicating
that another tumult will begin.

6. theme
The theme of this film, I think, is how love could be a strong motivation.
Because the octopi love each other they do not fear to risk their own lives.
