Thai Transgender Power

,  Crystal is a manager of the French cosmetic company L'occitane.

, Crystal is a transgender. She was born as a boy but now she lives as a woman.

, One day she was refused to enter the night club when the receptionist saw her ID card and knew that she was a transgender.

, The assembly wrote equal rights for gays and transgendered people into its constitution.

, In my opinion, gays and transgender are not popular in Japan as it is in other countries. For example, in United States, I see many news and articles about people that are against gays and transgenders, and  people that are starting activities to have the equal rights for gays and transgenders. However, in Japan not much people are aware of the fact that there are a lot of people who are gay or transgendered in Japan. Sometimes I have heard negative comments of people against gay people. I believe not only in Japan but in every country, people should accept and treat gay people equally as the others.
