Learning from a stranger

Yesterday, I was talked to by a stranger.
I was sitting on a bench and reading a book. Then, a woman(about 40 years or so) came to me and asked me about my campus life. At first I thought she was strange because she asked me about my personal information like which school, where I live, club activities and so on. She explained me that she has a niece who is thinking to go to Aoyamagakuin University so she came to see what kind of university it's like. She talked to me very gently and I realized that she is a nice person.
She talked about herself too. She used to be a volunteer helping people around the world. She told me about her and her colleagues' story. How she helped, how she felt, what it was like,,, I enjoyed hearing those interesting stories. I thought it is nice to learn new things from a person who has different view of the world.
