the big lawn in Meiji Shrine

last Friday, I am free on the second and third classes, so I and my friend went to our japanese language school where we learned japanese there for 2 years to visit our former class teacher. after that, we went to meiji shrine which is just near our language school, in meiji shrine, there is a very big lawn, since it is close to our language school, during the time in language school, I and my friends used to go there to have picnic or take a walk or sit on the lawn to read books. that is a fantastic place, beautiful, and not crowded with people.
