topless

I was really shocked to see the article we saw last week, about girls in Maine, protesting to go topless. I didn't even know that it was legal for women to go topless, but come to think about it, there are nude beaches. But I thought going topless in beaches and going topless on the streets is a totally different story. Even if the girls are okay with their selves going topless, the people seeing them might not get very pleasant at it. (Like the old lady in the photo on the article. lol) This is something we would never see in Japan, and if someone actually tried, it would be socially big problem.
