What is Otaku?

I want to talk about Japanese unique culture. "Otaku" is the one of it. I asked foreigne people about "Otaku". He said like, "I know Otaku!! Otaku is a man who loves manga!!". He said so confidently, but Otaku doesn't mean a man who loves comics. Originally, Otaku is a man who loses his head with something and familiar with something. So, a man who is familiar with the PC is called "PC otaku". However, we have typical otaku image without knowing it. The typical otaku image is a man who loves manga character and Akihabara. So, because of the image, many people mess up meaning of Otaku.
Secound, "Tsundere" is a word in the Otaku world. But now it isn't a word among otaku, everyone use it recently. I think "Tsundere" means treating someone cool sometimes and traeting someone sweet sometimes. some people like to be treated like "Tsundere". Maybe, I think this word came out from Otaku. Some manga characters have such characteristics, so Otaku call these character "Tsundere", I think.
Third, "Burriko" means sweet and innocent action. I think it is a clipped form of "Kawaikoburu- ko". Is it a word in the Otaku culture? I don't think so. It existed before Otaku culuture was born.
