About My Name

Hello, everyone.

Have you ever asked your parents about your name?

My name is Natsumi, and it comes from I was born in July, the midsummer.
Maybe the number of strokes was not good, my parents did not choose the kanji "Natsu" meaning summer. When I was a junior high school student, my name is often remembered wrong. I belonged to the calligraphy club at that time. A teacher who was in charge of this club, thought my name is Natsuko. And as he wrote my model of calligraphy, he wrote Natsuko at the left side. I don't know why he remembered my name in such a wrong way.

My name has a lot of strokes; I rarely encounter the person who has the same kanji.
Sometimes I feel hard to write my name throughout in kanji though, I like its visual appeal:)

All parents consider their baby's name deliberately and give many good meanings to the name. I want to cherish it.
