Do you work part-time job??? If you work, what kind of part-time job do you do? Today, let me introduce my part-time job:)
Since this July, I have been work in Korean BBQ restaurant. Our restaurant isn't big enough to accommodate a lot of people. In addition, each customer spending is little expensive. The average spending is about from 6,000 yen to 10,000 yen each. The reason why I work there is that one of my friends introduce me to the owner. As I had never done part-time job until I started to work there, I worried a lot at first. But now, my coworkers are so kind to me that I enjoy working.
We serve authentic Korean BBQ. Therefore, there are three Korean cooks and two Korean waiters. Of course, they all can fluently speak Japanese to some extent. But in kitchen, the air is filled with Korean. Sometimes, they isolate me by using Korean. If that happens, I also try to speak to them in Korean, "I can't understand what you are talking about in Korean!!" As I wan to take part in their conversation, I always search Korean words on the Internet or ask them to teach me Korean. Two Korean waiters go to Japanese school. Instead of being taught Korean, I teach them English. So, now I study four languages, which are Japanese, English, French and Korean!!
There are a lot of what I should learn in my workplace. As I'm not planning to quit this part-time job, I want to experience more!
