It is a wonder that the rule we have to only either choose western or Japanese style, I think!!! We should choose wedding of different types. The wedding is only once in the life for almost persons, so I want to hold original wedding as it makes me impressed and remained my heart deeply.
I will talk about cross-cultural marriage with another perspective.
Cross-cultural marriage is very difficult for me because marriage with people who live in same country is also not easy, I think. The fact we spend our life with one person together until we die is not easy if we really go well with partner, much less if culture is different each other, it must be more difficult to understand culture difference and agree with opinions and thoughts partners have.
I tend to like people whose environment are near with me, so I may think so…..
