wedding styles

I think we don't have to choose either one of Western or Japanese-style weddings. I want to have weddings of both styles if I have a chance, time, or money. In Japan, we have to spend a lot of money to have wedding ceremonies. However, I heard that the cost of wedding ceremonies in America is cheaper than Japan's because most of American people have churches to pray and they can have the ceremonies in them.
My mom wanted to have weddings of both styles. However, she gave up to have a Japanese-style wedding because the wig didn't look good on her..lol I also know the people who didn't have a wedding ceremony. They think it takes a lot of money and it is hard to decide many things for their weddings.
