Thai Transgender Power

1) Whats her job?

She works as a brand manager in a cosmetic company "L`occitane".
She has to make sure that all of the 15 outlet shops are fine.

2)Tell more interesting things about Crystal.

When Crystal was a child, she used to play a role of a mother in a mom and dad game. Also she didn't feel like being in a relationship with girls. Instead of being gay, Crystal wanted to be a woman, so she decided to be a transgender.
On her childhood, she wanted to be an actress.
Her mom is a professor, and her dad is a doctor.
Crystal does not drink alcohol, does`t smoke, and she is a vegetarian.

3) What happened to Crystal.

She wasn`t treated okay at the Concept CM2 nightclub in Bangkok`s Novotel Silmon Hotel.
When she showed her drivers licences which said "Mr" on it, she was refused to join.
So she told the whole story to the Bangkok Rainbow Association, which helped her accused to the News about it. Her action became even bigger. A military coup took place in Thailand and a interim government was installed. Also a the Constitution Drafting Assembly was selected to change the constitution.

4) As a result, what was the big change in the constitution of Thailand?

The assembly wrote equal rights for gays and transgender people into the constitution.
This was the first time in the whole Thailand history that transgender and gay got the rights.

5) How about Japan compared to Thailand? The series of actions. Would we have this change in Japan?

In Japan, people do not have any hostility against gay or transgender. This change might never happen because people in Japan are tolerant to any kind of gender, race, personality,or if they have a disability or not, no one would come up with an idea like Crystal. However there are still legal challenges against gay and transgender. If a terrible occasion occur in the future like this issue, possibly, there might be some kind of change.
