Explaining "Otaku" in english

I think trying to explain about otaku is one of the hardest assignments I have ever done in English. This is how I would explain these words:

Moe: Moe is a feeling that is close to how you feel when you see something cute. However it is a little different because it is mostly used on things that are unrealistic, such as characters inside anime and games.
Cosplay: I think cosplay is easy to understand because it is a mixture of two English words, "costume" and "role playing". The kind of costumes that are worn are, costumes from anime and comics, and also clothes like maids. The person who is wearing these costumes will "role play" meaning act like the character he/she is cosplaying.
Tsundere: I think Tsundere can be a little hard becasue it is a mixture of two Japanese special words. In Japanese there is something called "擬態語Gitaigo". Gitaigo is a special word in Japanese that was made just from the feeling of things. For example, If you smile suspiciously, it is expressed "にやにやniyaniya" and if you move around not knowing what to do, then it is expressed "うろうろurouro". So, Tsundere is "つんつんtsuntsun" + "でれでれDeredere". Tsuntsun is acting a little mean and not nice. It means being a cold person. Deredere is being flirtatious and coquette. So, tsundere is two words that are opposite put together. So if you are tsundere then you are kind of shelfish because you act differently depeding on your mood. The video said that it is saying something but meaning the opposite thing such as saying "die" means "I like you". I think this is COMPLETELY WRONG.
Brikko: Brikko is trying to act young and cute excessively. In the video it was saying someone who is old like more then 40 can be burikko. I think that even if you are in your 20s you can be burikko. However older people are more likely to be called burikko because of their age.

Finally done...Oww my head hurts from too much thinking.
