Come in and Blog On!

2023 Welcome to your IE 3 class blog. The object of this class project is to log in and write your comments, web links, answers to questions, and your questions to others at least twice a week. It's fun and you can include pictures or graphics. Keep it original, helpful, and interesting. Don't forget to spellcheck your work before publishing. Also, when you create your user name, please use your real first name, in Romaji (ex. Ryuki, Mari, Lisa, etc.) so that we know who we are communicating with. Enjoy, and Blog on!

The Look

First, I thank Dr. Armstrong for telling us how to comment.
Today, I would like to write about 7 literary terms of The Look (IE Book page 22).

Setting: on Third Avenue, near the park, at summer night
Point of View: 3rd person
Conflict: There is a conflict between her and loneliness.  She felt so lonely and sorry for herself that she hardly noticed the smell of the flowers.
Climax: Their eyes met as he passed.
Symbols: Ugly, gun-metal grey shows loneliness she was feeling.  And his action of looking back at her shows his likeness to her.
Irony: He hit a telephone pole.
Theme: Don't do two things at the same time.  Consider well before acting.
