I'll write about e-cigs. I thought why Japanese company decided not to sell them in Japan. I think that genuine cigarettes might not be bought if e-cigs are sold in Japan. They have no smoke and a 1/5 cost. So people who want to stop smoking use them maybe. If the number of people who stop smoking increase, the number of genuine cigarettes which are bought will decrease. Japanese company is afraid that it is so, I think.
Another reason I think is that e-cigs are not studied enough because they are new. In Japan, something that is not studied enough is not liked so much. So if people in Japan think that they might be dangerous, they don't buy them.
These are the reasons I think about e-cigs' problem in Japan.
