The Lost Thing

Good evening, everyone!  How are you?  Recently I've felt cold especially in the morning.  This time, I'll write about the short story "The Lost Thing."

This is a story about a man and a strange creature.  When the man was walking on a beach, he found the strange creature.  He wondered where it came from and who its owner was, so he spent time finding out those things.  However, he couldn't find out because of a lack of information about it.  That was natural because people around the creature showed no concern about it, and then he realized that the creature was "lost."  After that, he continued to look for a suitable place for it, and finally he was able to find its place that looked like a utopia.  I guess this story wants to make us realize that we have a lot of things that we don't see, or we lose in everyday life.  Once we begin to do one thing, we tend to overlook other things, so this story tells us that we should have wider vision.
