Mermaid

Hi! Good morning. I forget to post about Mermaid, so I'll talk about it.

The characters are a boy and a fish. The boy found the fish and he perceived it as a mermaid. He and she enjoy swimming together. He took her to his house to show her his family. However, nobody accepted what he said. The police arrested him and they tried to have him forgotton the mermaid and banned him to think about her. In spite of the surppression, he couldn't forget her. But finally, he had forgotton her. He escaped from the prison and went to the mermaid. When he saw her, she looked the simple fish. He was shocked, so he returned it to the sea. To make his surprise, the fish changed into the mermaid in the sea. in the end, he disappeared in the sea, playing with her. The theme of the story is surppression. The story tells us that it is free to imagine something and nobody musn't ban the free thiniking. I think Osamu Teduka tried to decribe Japan that was in wartime.
