Don't you think there's too many GK's and DF's?? Is there a limit on numbers that is required by each position?? I think three GK's way too much! I was hoping for Tatsuya Tanaka to be in the team but oh well...
I like the way Japan plays (compared to three-four years ago) but the problem that could never be solved is that we lack talented big-named players! Say Brazil, there bunch of big names!! Its like the names make up the team. Messi for Argentina, Torres, Vila, Iniesta and Xavi for Spain, a team that performs well has got to have some sort of role model kind of player that every children playing football dream of, or even non-football playing people know of. I personally think Honda is going to be a big name, his physical, motivated and aggressive, got good skills, but I don't think he is matured yet to control the team for the 2010 World Cup.
Well overall... no way there going to be in the best4!!!
