7th post Hugo review

Here is my view of the main characters.
Desma: The dark haired girl. Probably she is an junior high student. By her looks she doesn't do any exercise at all (This is definitely the results of being in the lab too much.)and the warts or acne on her chin means she doesn't care how she looks like at all.
Her personality is not bright. In the middle of the scenario she said to Celestine something like "I will do anything to get the trophy because it matters everything" so I think she is the type who will cheat, or will get rid of anyone who will try to stop her if she needs to.

Celestine: The blond haired girl. She cares about all the people around her, including her rival and the disliked Desma. I think she will even give up her entomology trophy to her rival. She dislikes the way Desma kills every type of bug she gets her hands on to make an good result.

Hugo: I didn't catch the first part but I somehow got an hint that Hugo didn't change from the moth that escaped (Because moths do not change into a chrysalis) but was found by chance in the forest. Being the first thing Hugo fell eyes on he began to think Desma was her family and begins to become attached to her, but Desma only think he is just another moth. Being an nocturnal moth he dislikes light very much.

When the entomology contest nears, Desma who found the perfect material to win thinks hard how she could use it. Because she doesn't know how to communicate (I think she couldn't even communicate with an human properly.) she tries to make Hugo into an specimen sample. She tries to drug him in the first scene but seeing Hugo's handsome looks she stops at that point. But when the contest is just one day ahead she becomes desperate and wounds or tries to kill Hugo so he will stay still and locks him in an glass container. In the end she realises what have she done wrong and gives up the trophy she wanted so much and craves help from Celestine. But having no skill as an doctor they couldn't save Hugo's life. When all seems lost moonlight from the window almost immediately regenerates his wounds and Hugo smiles to the girls (Probably he wants to say " I'm all right" .) and flies slowly into the midnight.
Overall, I think it was an very good movie because it involved the very complicated relationships of the characters. I also think this movie wanted to say you have to be careful when you make sacrifices to get something.
