The Clod

Remember the video we saw last Friday called the clod?? I thought it was a lovely piece of short clip! Its simple, cute and funny, but I think its got a deep meaning to it as well, some kind of hidden message in that lovely looking character.
Clod - means a lump of something. I'm not really sure why the Czech programmer (I think Dr. Armstrong said he was Czech) named it the clod. Anyone have any ideas??
I liked the small black character, especially the voice and his reaction!! I'm pretty sure we were all like that when we were small! Happy all the time, optimistic, react to things emotionally and forget bad things when you sleep! Anyway, the tiny character's living in a good mood, when all of a sudden, he gets eaten by a bigger one. He fights the big one, but there's no hope as the big creatures at least fifty times bigger than him. He's sad on his own, but the next moment his house gets eaten as well, and he's happy again with his lovely house! While he's sleeping happily (as he's got his house back) he and his house get p**ed out. Surprised his out, however, there's the big creature in front of him again, and he gets eaten, AGAIN, and the same thing probably happens to the small black character through his entire life.
I've read what Erika thought about what the theme was, I kind of agree to her. My personal thought was (I don't think there's a right or wrong to this anyway) that good things can turn out to be bad things, bad things can turn out to be good things! Things are sometimes out of control, no matter how much effort you put in, we might not have the power to flick things round. But the key is, we need to be optimistic, enjoy any sort of situation in our life. Wherever you are, enjoy it, feel happy!!
I'm writting a good blog am I not?? lol
