I realised that I hadn't read mari's comment about the clod.
Yes, that character's probably living the only moment, not thinking about the future, nor the past. Although the clip was 2D, life is 3D (I know it is a bit random) so he could have avoided the massive creature by moving sideways, once he has learned from his mistakes by being eaten.
I think aims and goals are important in life. I totally agree to that. But what if he (the tiny creature) moves sideways? He'll probably avoid the big creature. No being eaten, no being wasted out. No ups and downs.
Somehow it inspired me that, I think that big creature isn't the same "thing". Yes, it does look the same. But it appears to me that, it is shaped the same way, but its actually a different sort of object, shall I say an "experience".
There's many things in life that make you sad, that's what probably the tiny character was experiencing. In real world, that massive creature is a sad happening, in other words experience that is challenged upon us. The sad happening or experience, was being eaten for the small character, for us, it could be a death of someone close to you (a relative, friend or a pet), losing something that is important to you, according to what sort of happening that makes you sad. But we've got to deal with it somehow. We might want to run away, we might want to close our eyes, but at the end, we've got to face the fact that we need to make a move. Let me talk about myself a bit, I'm personally not enjoying uni yet. I don't know why, but it's not what I expected. The lifestyle of uni, the relationships... That's probably why I've missed quite a lot of lessons so far, it just doesn't make me motivated. But staying in bed doesn't change anything.
Although missing lessons is definitely not a good thing to do, I realise now, that I should at least give it a try, go to all the lessons, listen hard and study hard. I feel like going to uni now. Without the ups and downs, it wouldn't have ever made me think to challenge myself to go to uni, so... I'd say to myself, stay still when you don't feel like it, but move whenever you think its "NOW"!! I'm probably motivated as I'm writing these things on the blog! Anyway, see you later x
