I kind of find the story sad and painful. First when i saw the creature(the main character) I thought it represented animal and the theme was about humans being harmful to animals. Though I realized that the characters were humans and it reflected the current society and the worse scenario that the society could have.
So for who and when, I believe it represent humans, and it could be in the future.
I thought the beginning of the story sets in a period before the industrial revolution because it had no buildings and just nature but the set changed so quickly.
Where could be any country that is well developed like US (I thought it represented such country)
I believe this is happening because of the exhaust gas. the world is being polluted and the varmints have no place to go so the creature made from the plants rescued them.
I believe the world that varmints used to live will eventually collapse or no one would ever be able to live there and the varmints would live inside the creatures peacefully instead.
I suppose the theme of this video is obviously pollution and if we don’t take actions to the ones our society have now, the same thing would happen to us. Only there are no creatures to save us.
