Not surprisingly, I often get asked by people "Does your name come from Santa Claus?
To give you the most disappointing answer, "No"😂
And unfortunately my birthday is neither December 24th nor 25th.
So, here is how my name came from.
When you write Santa in kanji it's 三太. Both my dad and my grandfather have kanji 三 in their names and that's why my parents wanted to have 三 in my name as well. They have 三 as the second letter of their names so they decided my name would be 三○.
三 has 3 meanings to it. Those are "will", "passion", and "knowledge".
太 has the meaning of hoping to grow up healthily.
I need to apologize in advance that I wouldn't be going to your houses to give out Christmas presents.......🙏
