Varmints

Who- The main character was a dog like creature(kinda looked like snoopy) otherwise known as a varmint.

What- At the start the little creature was enjoying the nature in peace until a mass horde of varmints, who all looked plain and looked like robots with no minds, bring in highly technological civilization which also brought the destruction of nature. Throughout the story, the protagonist tries to prevent the eradication of nature by raising plants in its house in the monotonous city.

When- I think it was during the industrial revolution in England. If I remembered properly, there were lines of varmints going somewhere to do something and the small weak varmints were falling onto the ground. This scene reminded me of the story of how a lot of little kids were forced to work in mines where large adults couldnt fit in during the industrial revolution period .

Where- an imaginary fictional world that resemble the planet earth.

Why- The varmints got carried away into making their civilzation better and did not look at the consequences of their actions causing the eradication of nature. This is kind of ironic because this can also be the same as the human civilization. We people seem to not care about anything except for ourselves so a lot of environmental conflicts have been made and probably will be one of the possible reasons for the extinction of humanity.

How does it end- The short film ends as the varmints are abducted(?) by a jellyfish looking creature.

Theme- I've read something that says something like this "civilizations are held up the sacrifices of the people" This is very true but I think that civilization is also supported by all the resources mother nature gave to us. So the theme is once the balance between nature and mankind is broken, the civilization will come to an end.
