Chofu

around Chofu Station from the 12th floor

Good evening!  This is Shinnosuke.
Let me write about Chofu City, where I live.

As some of you already know, I live in Chofu, which is located on around the center of Tokyo and has a population of about 230,000.
Chofu Station plays an important role as the center of Chofu and is used by more than 110,000 people a day.
In 2012, new Chofu Station was completed underground.
Now, a plan of development of Chofu Station area is ongoing, so new condominiums are being constracted.
Many people think that I should rent an apartment much nearer Aogaku because I lead a single life, and I think it's natural.
However, I have one important reason why I want to live in Chofu.
It's true that I spent almost all my life in Niigata and grew up there, but my birthplace is, to tell the truth, Hachioji, and in addition, I spent the first early months in Chofu.
My memory doesn't include the fact, so my parents told me that.
When I heard that, I was filled with feelings that can't be expressed by any words.
I decided to enter a college in Tokyo and live in Chofu.
I love Chofu so much that Chofu is one of my choices of future living places!
