The main character liked to live slowly and relax under the tree. But the industrialization started. He was upset and picked up branch of the tree. The world changed completely. He began new life which became industry. But he grew up the branch with clean water. Then, he was carried to the natural world.
I think that the industrial world in the movie represents our own world. Our world has forgotten the importance of nature. We should remember it.
