Good evening.
This time I would like to write about the short film "Varmints". Simply speaking, this film is regarding to the urbanization. This movie focused on one town but this is actually not showing the problem of just a small scale but expressing how serious it is in the whole world. In the film, the creatures that are probably reflecting not only people but also animals, plants and any other living things are walking on the street as if they are going to die and actually some them fell down on the street. This is a bit exaggerated but definitely implying how serious the problem is.
Some white bubble kind of things appear during the film. At first, I was confused at these mysterious things but now I think these show the peaceful places like Tokyo. The place that most people who live in got used to the peace. Although the bubble is a good place to live in, the place that are not a bubble is increasing now and the place where we could live are decreasing. Moreover, I think most people who live in the bubble aren't aware of this fact.
