Conflict-The two octopi were interrupted by the driver whilst being affectionate. Later in the short film, there came another obstacle where a bird approached flying, grabbing the orange octopus.
Climax-When the driver gets thrown into the ocean, and the pair finally managed to be with each other.

Irony-Although the two octopi were able to reunite, another obstacle got in their way of happiness and relationship.
Theme-Not everything goes the way you expect it to go. For the octopi, their relationship was always interrupted by someone/something. As for the driver, he was just doing his job yet was unable to because of the octopi. Another theme is that love makes you do crazy things.
