Do you think destinies are real? I would like to believe that it is real but if we think about it deeply, all actions are caused by the choices we made in the past. So, everything that happened or we decided by chance, wasn't by chance because all the other choices that you made in the past lead you to make that 'coincidental' choice. In physics there is an interesting paradox called the demon of Laplace. Before I explain it let me give you an idea of why we study physics. To put simply, physics is the subject to predict the future. If we knew all the measurments needed to do something, like you wanted to know where the cart will be in 10 seconds if the cart was moving at a speed of 20m/s at a constant velocity motion. Distance=Velocityxtime so we can predict that the car will be at the distance of 20mX10=200. With this in mind, if a thing(in this paradox its called the demon) knows every principle of the universe and knows all the formulas and also have enough time and brain to calculate, the demon can predict the future of anything. But here comes the paradox......... see if you can spot a contradiction or a flaw and type it in the comment section. Enough of the hard concepts of physics. Even if this was a paradox, meaning something is wrong, I still believe the concept of people's choices in the past influences the 'coincidental' choice you made. What do you guys think? Do you think a coincedent is actually a coincedent?
Sorry for always ranting on about things you all are probably not interested of.
Ps. Another thing about why I don't believe in coincidents is because our brain can't handle and comprehend the super fast calculations that are being made in our brain while making a choice so even if we think that something is a coincedent, that's because your brain can't process all the past choices you made in the past fast enough, causing you to think that it was a coincident.

I am so sorry, I always forget to open up the comment section.
Great insight! I read a book by C.G. Jung on meaningful coincidences, the so-called "synchronicity” months ago. It's so interesting to note the difference between physics and psychology!
Thanks for the reply Ken, if you do not mind me asking, would you tell me the name of the book? It will be interesting to see other peoples thoughts about this topic.
Sure thing! There you go.
Synchronicity: An Acausal Connecting Principle. (From Vol. 8. of the Collected Works of C. G. Jung) (Jung Extracts, 36)
Once again thanks Ken!
