Go to a Movie

 Last Tuesday, I went to a movie with my friends. We went to the movie theater which was in Toyosu. I hadn’t been to Toyosu. There were many buildings so I was surprised.

 

 One of my friends had a discount ticket so we could see the movie by paying cheaper fee. The title of the movie was Gone Girl. It was kind of a thriller. I will write about brief summary of this movie. Nick and Amy was an ideal couple. But on their fifth wedding anniversary, Amy disappeared. Nick asked the police to investigate. But gradually, he was begun to suspect of being the criminal who killed Amy. Then, the surprising facts came out to be proved.

 

 I hadn’t watched such movie so I was a little scared while watching the movie. But it was also interesting because there was the psychology of the characters which attracted people’s interests. In short, this movie was frightening and interesting for me.

 

 After watching the movie, we saw the illuminations. They were very beautiful.

 

 The day I watched the movie was the day before Christmas Day and my father cooked dinner. It was very nice dinner.

 

 

Performance of ADL

 Last saturday, I went to the performance of ADL that is one of the dance circle of AGU. The first time I saw the performance was on our school festival, however there were too many people and I couldn't see it clearly. So I was really looking forward to seeing their dance that day.
 The inauguration of the hall was 16:00 and the start of the performance was 17:00. We arrived there at 16:20, but there were already many people and left seats were only both side block. Moreover, there were not only the young, but also the senior, then I noticed how much ADL was attractive.
 The performance was amazing!! Though I thought that they'd just various dance, in the fact, the program was based on a story and they were acting as well as dancing. At the beginning, I was excited because they were too cool. But as I was attracted, I was moved and it became hard to restrain my tears. Since I'd never be made cry by dance, I was very surprised.
 By the way, I have three friends who belong to ADL and I know how hard they practice. They always try to do their best for anything even though they are tired because of the hard practice.
 On tha day, I was stimulated by the performance. I thought it was good for me to see their performance.

Happy day

 On Dec. 20, I went to Madame Tussauds where wax figures of celebrities were exhibited. There were much more figures and they were looked  exactly like the real things than I expected. Even though what I wanted to see was only One Direction's figure, I was also able to enjoy taking pictures with many of the other figures. Above all, I was excited when I saw Michel Jackson, Johnny Depp and, of course, One Direction.

 After we finished seeing all figures, we visited Diver City which is a shopping mall in Odaiba and looked for my companions' clothes. On the other hand, I couldn't buy anything since I didn't have much money though there were some clothes I wanted. Then, I want to visit there soon again.

After eating dinner, we had a drive. Though it was rain, the illumination of Tokyo tower was beautiful:)

Go to Yokohama

 On December 24^th, I went to Yokohama with my friend. From our hometown, it takes about thirty minutes to get there. We met at the station and left for Yokohama.

 

 We got off at Sakuragityou Station. I hadn’t been there for a long time so I was excited when we arrived there. First, we visited the landmark tower. There was a beautiful Christmas tree so we took a picture of it. The main colors seemed to be blue and white and it was illuminated. Then, we enjoyed window-shopping. There were various commodities so we could enjoy looking at them.

 

 After that, we went to Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. Christmas Markets was held there. Various German foods were sold and they seemed to be delicious. Also, there were hot drinks. There were pretty objects so we enjoyed looking them.

 

 Then, we went to okonomiyaki restaurant and had dinner there. We ordered two kinds of okonomiyaki. One of them was made of yam and the other included noodles. They tasted very good.

 

 It was very nice day. I don’t know so much about Yokohama and I think there are many places where I haven’t been to. So I want to visit them and know about Yokohama more.

 

Skiing with my brothers

Good morning, everyone! It's Shinnosuke.
How's your vacation going? For me, my homework doesn't go well, so I'm worried about whether I can finish it in time...
This time, let me write about skiing with my brothers.

There's a little snow in Niigata and much more snow in mountain areas, so we can enjoy skiing and I went skiing with my brothers on December 28.
It was sunny and nice that day, so we were able to see Sea of Japan very clearly.
As for skiing, I'm not good at it, but I can simply enjoy it. Haha!
I think my brothers can do skiing even better than me...
Skiing is very precious experience for what I am now.

Opera concert and broiled meat

Today I enjoyed many things with three of my friends.

First, I and two friends gathered and went to the opera concert by Tokyo University because one of my friends joined it as an horn player of an orchestra. Although I have been to the concert of brass band many times, it was the second time I had been to the opera concert. So I was able to enjoy the concert which was different from ones I'm accustomed.

The concert finished before 6 PM, and we joined together at Ikebukuro station at 7 PM. We were going to go to the broiled meat restaurant Maumi, which we reserved, but the reservation time was 8 PM. So we had one-hour vacant time. Then we decided to go to Doutor. We drank coffee and talked about today's concert and our school life. The coffee was so hot that I burned my tongue. Later we went to the restaurant. We stayed there for about two hours and ate a lot of broiled meat. I was really satisfied because the meat was very delicious and we could enjoy talking a lot. However, every time I ate meats, my tongue hurted. 

All in all, today was really fun for me, and now we are planning to hold New Year's Party. I'm looking forward to it too!

Happy Merry X'mas

Last December 25th was Christmas.
I had a Christmas party with my club members. At first we were divided into small groups and went to buy foods, drinks and other stuffs needed for the party. The party started with a magnificient sound of the crackers. We just ate and ate and ate at the first half. Then we did when, where, who and what do game with gestures. Because we are a musical club, everyone had a good expressiveness and was easy to guess. Finally, we ended the party with a gift exchange. The last time I did this was in elementary school, so it was fresh and I felt nostalgia. It was also fun choosing presents.

Kimono*

     On December 27, I went to a kimono shop to choose my clothes at coming-of-age ceremony. The store staff prepared a lot of kimonos for me, and all of them had a beautiful colors. I had no idea which kimonos to choose because all of them were amazing but finally I selected a red one which was full of colorful flowers. When I found it at the first time, I was inspired by its good design and then I decided to wear. The store clerk told me that the kimono I chose was so good on me. My ceremony is in 2016, but I’m looking forward to wearing it again from now. ^^

The Devil Wears Prada

     On December 25, I watched this film at my house. The main actress was Anne Hathaway, and she is one of my favorite Hollywood movie stars. The plot of the film was quite different from its original, so I was really enjoyed both of them. It was fun for me to compare the difference between content of book and plot of the film. What I learned from this movie was the importance of making our reason of living. I cannot write the specific story here because I think I should say such thing on my second book report, but I recommend you to check this out to find many lessons for us.

My dream

This year, I started to do Debate since middle August . At first, I could not do anything about Debating. That's because Debate has so many uniqe words  and the rule itself is so complicated for me. Moreover, it takes much time and cost.  So I was worrying about myself that whether I will be able to keep on doing debate until I become third year student. However, thanks to my strict and sweet seniors, I could become a big fun of Debating now. My senior changed my mind to make a lot of efforts about debating. Since my mind has changed dramatically, I decided to join upper tounament with my senior and I could have a great experience at there. And sine that day, I got a my ideal person about debating. Down below's picture shows you my ideal person! She is a one of the greatest debators and from Keio E.S.S team.  I have a dream that oneday I become a great debator like her and get a first prize at the tournament. To achieve such goal, I want to keep on making efforts and make my dteam come true.

 

 

 

 

Christmas Party

Good afternoon. I'm going write about last Monday. I went to Tanta, restaurant at Omotesando, to participate Christmas party with members of baton part. 

We chartered the restaurant! Tanta was a restaurant of the buffet-style. We ate a lot of Italian and French dishes. I enjoyed talking with seniors and fellows for a long time. 

We did a gesture game. Themes was involving baton part. So it was so fun!!

4th graders had prepared DVD, which included many memories of our baton part. I could see 4th graders who were 1st graders. I also saw dance on May 31st. It was my first performance as this baton part member. So it was nostalgic. After this DVD, we took pictures. We had a great time. 

Merry Christmas!

Today is Christmas! Did you do anything special today?
I spent all day in my house. So today was boring day for me. Instead, I enjoyed the party with my family and my cousin's family four days ago. We ate roast chicken, sushi, and so on. We could have a really good time. Now I'm looking forward to going to Osaka as I wrote on my previous article, and I'm also looking to forward to meet my friends in my brass band of my high school on December 28th. My high school is attached to Nihon University. So most friends in my brass band entered Nihon University through special entrance exam for students in high school attached to the university. However, I and three friends took general entrance exam in order to enter other university. So I and they decided to gather on the day. We are planning to sing in karaoke and eat broiled meat. I can't wait for it!

Wonderful Stage

 On Sunday, I went to a concert with my friends. It was held by Wind Orchestra and Batontwirling of Aoyama Gakuin University. Our friend belongs to batontwirling club and she performed on the stage.

 

 We went to Shinjuku. It was my first visit to Shinjuku. I was surprised to see the large station yard. We were headed for the hall. It wasn’t far from the station. When we entered the hall, we saw many people lined up. We also formed a line and waited for an opening time.

 

 The hall was large and beautiful. After that, the performance began. The brass band’s performance was wonderful. I was attracted to it soon. I was excited while I was listening to it. Moreover, the performance of the batontwirling club was wonderful, too. I couldn’t find my friend but everyone performed well. Their costumes were very pretty and I wanted to wear such costumes. Also, I wanted to take the stage and play the piano or dance classical ballet on it. The stage was very nice and enjoyable for me.

 

 We went back to Shibuya after watching the performance. Then, we went to the restaurant and ate a pizza for dinner. It was very delicious.

 

 After that, we went home. It was a very nice weekend.

 

nebe party!

Since this monday, the off season of debate has come!! so I decided to enjoy this week so much. Firstlry, I held Nabe party at my friend Nao with me, and our senior Akira aennpai. We ate a Kimuchi nabe and finally, we added cheeze and ate it like a risotto. It tasted wonderfull.

Also, we talked a lot about our club activity Debate and had tons of funs. And since that day, I bacame a fun of the Kimuchi nabe and cheeze resotto, so I ate this Nabe in a row. Why don't you try it?

Regular Concert 2

Although I thought I was not nervous, actually I was nervous. My fingers trembled. Our coach let us touch a towel. It is said that if you touch it you don't drop a baton. So I touched it. We made a circle as usual. 4th graders were scheduled to retire from our club after this concert. So I felt loneliness. 

Performance was so enjoyable!!! But I dropped a baton once because it caught on my costume... I danced with smile. Some IE members came to see us. I'm so happy!! Thank you for coming. 

Regular Concert 1

I'm going to write about the regular concert of wind orchestra and baton twirling club. 

On December 21st, we held the regular concert in Shinjuku culture center. We got together at nine o'clock. I had to get up at five thirty because I had to make up and set my hair at home. I'm not good at getting up early. So that was hard. I thank my younger sister because she set my hair for me in spite of having to get up so early. 

In rehearsal room, we practiced. We could  confirm our movement because of the room with a mirror wall. It was good for us. But because the ceiling was low, we could not throw a baton. It was uneasy for me.

Today, I have a very good news I want to tell you.


I have made posts about driving school twice since the beginning of this IE class.
I am now very happy because there's no longer need to write about this topic!
This means I've passed all tests necessary to get a driver's license, and now I am one of the drivers in Japan!!!
I want to write about how the last part of my driving school life went.
On December 14, I graduated from driving school, but this did not mean the acquisition because I had one more written exam in a real examination facility, which was said to be more important and more difficult.
However, to my disappointment, the exam can be taken only in weekdays.
This is why I took the exam yesterday, having a blank of ten days.
What was worse, I heard, from my mother and brother two days before the exam, that one of my friends had unsucceeded in the same exam!
It made me very worried, and I became afraid that I might fall.
Finally, the day came, and the facility was very crowded with examinees.
The written exam was not so difficult as I had expected.
When I saw my number announced, I was so happy!
After that, I received my driver's license in the same day, on December 24, 2014!

I got so much homework for winter vacation, but I haven't done at all. Have you done?

These days I have been working at my part-time job so much because other people have their business. It sounds that I am a leisured person, but it doesn't .

On 22th December I worked as usual, then shop manager bought many ingredients for some sweets. So we searched for cookpad which introduces many recipes for ordinary people, and started to cook.
Since the restaurant is a Japanese dinner, it was weird that things like whip cream or fruits were lined.

We made "christmas moose". It smelled sweet ram.

After finished working, I ate these moose.
It was supreme bless.

I felt that I want to work more harder. I am so simple minded person.

FESTIVAL

Good evening.
Today is Christmas Eve, so I ate Christmas cake and will have a party tomorrow♡ Can't wait!

Last Saturday, I went to see a musical presented by the Shiki Theatre Company.
It was an original musical using many famous musical numbers.I was overwhelmed by the power of song, dance and performance.Actors were sparkling on the stage and they were exactly professional. I didn't know all of the songs but I had a good time and wanted to see other musicals.My heart beat fast when A Whole New World and Beauty and the Beast, because I really like these songs.It was like I was in a dream.
Be Our Guest reminded me of my public performance at the Aoyama festival. It was the first number, so I had an special emotional attachment to it. I want to performance with my peers again.

As you know from the title, I had a wonderful festival!!!

Reward for myself

Good evening, everyone!
I am now heading for Niigata, so this post is from Shinkansen!

Yesterday was the last school day of this year. It's already the end of this year. Time flies!
Since April, I have made a lot of efforts for my English studying.
I've spent 99% of my study time on IE assignments, but I have no regret about that because English studying should be a significant part of my life.
However, it is true that I am exhausted with everyday tasks, so I came up with a good idea to heal myself: an idea that I buy a small piece of cake in a department store near my home as a reward for myself
It was a little expensive but delicious!
I felt it important to treat myself in a special way sometimes.

Tiny trip inside Tokyo

Hi, it's Shinnosuke.
Today, I want to write about a tiny trip I took yesterday!

Yesterday, I had only one class, so I decided to go somewhere by train and enjoy shopping.

First, I went to Okachimachi to visit Takeya, a discount store.

You can buy everything at lower prices, such as food, drink, snack, or stationery, and especially stationery is much cheaper, I think.

Everyone knows that, so the store is always very crowded.

I bought stationery, daily necessaries and other things at very low prices.

After that, I went to Shinjuku to buy a new diary for 2015 at Kinokuniya Shinjuku Minami.

Kinokuniya belongs to Takashimaya Times Square, so I enjoyed a little unusual atmosphere near Takashimaya while heading for Kinokuniya.

One of my goals of 2015 is to fill in my diary all in English.

I wanted to choose a nice one which gives me motivation.

At the end of the trip, I really enjoyed the specific atmosphere at Shinjuku Station!

Then, I went back to my home.

Cookinig

Today, I had a good time. I went to ABC cooking studio with one of my friends. We took a trial lesson. The lesson was small-group system so a teacher taught two of us. Guess what we made?

Ta-da!!

A heart-shaped chocolate cake with raspberry whip cream inside! It seems that it's a little difficult to make this by ourselves. I had thought so before I took this lesson. Surprisingly, the recipe was so simple that anyone can make this. The cake was so yummy. I brought it back home. The lesson cost only 500 yen! OTOKU! If you are interested in this, you should try!

 

 

LOVE IE FRIENDS

Last Wednesday, after first period, I went to bills to eat pancake with my IE friends. Bills is very famous for breakfast. I wanted to go there for a long time. The atmosphere of there was so nice that we could relax. We all ordered pancakes. The pancake was as yummy as I had expected.

 

 

About 11:00, I said goodbye to them and went to my work place. After a while I started to work, they came to see me! I was so happy about that though a little embarrassed. Thank you so much;)

Concert goods

Good evening. Today, I went Tokyo dome to buy the goods of my favorite group, Arashi after the class. Though I wanted to join the concert, I and my friend  could not get it. So we only bought the goods of the concert.
When we arrived at  the dome, there are not so many people and we could buy goods very smoothly. We were so satisfied with it.
After that, we ate dinner at the restaurant near the dome.  We enjoyed talking about Arashi, and each recant condition. She told me that she was lovesick. It was first time that she told me about such topic, so I was a little happy although I couldn't give her any good advice. I hope she could feel refｒeshed through this  dinner.　
Surprisingly, we could heard the sound of concert from the dome when we walked toward the station. We were so impressed and excited. It encouraged us and we were determined to join in it next time.

My plan of winter vacation

As you know, winter vacation is about to come. Do you have any plans? I think most of you are going to go to your or your parents' hometown. As for me, I'm going to go to Osaka, which is my father's hometown. In Osaka, foods are really delicious. In particular, Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki are awesome. They are much better than those in Tokyo or Kanagawa. So I defenitely want to eat them. When it comes to Osaka, some of you may think of Universal Studio Japan, but  prpbably we won't go because it is certain that it will be very crowded. I'm going to see the year out in Osaka and meet my relatives there. I'm looking to forward to it very much!

QUA AINA

Hello. This is Haruka. Ayaka took me to the Hawaiian restaurant  last Wednesday. 

I could not eat out recently,so I was very excited. I ordered cheese burger and sheared a pancake with Ayaka. It was first time for me to eat such a gorgeous pancake. I was full and satisfied.

Though I had eaten at the same restaurant in Yokohama, I could enjoy because the atmosphere was different. When we ate, some foreigners came next to us. They talked in English, so I felt as if I am really in Hawaii.

I want to go there again. If I can, I will try another menu next time.

 

 

Farewell party

This Tuesday, farewell party was held in my debate club. Senior officially graduated from our debate section so I was very sad to say goodbye to my seniors. After we got messages  from seniors one by one, we went to the great restaurants and spent a good time with each other. I have a great thankfulness to my seniors especially who participated in the tournament with taking me. So I can stop crying when I tried to say a word thankYou to my senior. However, from that times, new generation has already started. So I decided to be like a senior who I respect the most. Again, it was really good time.

part time job

Hi,
today im talking about my part time job.
im working for TKG(a cramming school) as a teacher.
My students are from elementary school students to high school students.
and i teach mainly math and English.
i work 6 days a week because most of the students have exam soon, and you know, it is really hard actually.
However, i think it is worth to work for a long time because i can feel sense of accomplishment.
i can share delight with students.
Nevertheless, i think i work too hard now, so after they finish their exams, I want to work at most 3 a week.

Circle

Today I'm going to write about the symbol of circle. In my opinion, I think cycle is the symbol of God in every countries. In the acient days, people often made the holy place where people pray for God. For example, mild weather or rich harvest or something. In such situation, people made circle zone. I think circle is same looks as sun or moon which is also thought to be the symbol of God,so people think it's close to the God. Moreover, circle often mention about the good relationship of people. So when people make circle, I think such symbol is included.

Christmas atmosphere

Good afternoon! It's Shinnosuke again.

Christmas Day will come soon.
Recently, illuminations or other Christmas decorations have been seen everywhere around us.
I like seeing night scenes from high places, so seeing such illuminations give me kind of cheerfulness and energy.
Moreover, some Christmas songs can be heard.
Near Shibuya Station, near Hikarie more precisely, I often hear "All I Want for Christmas Is You."
This song is my favorite song, so I listen to this song in spring, summer, or fall, as well as this season! lol

my favorite game

Good afternoon! This time i'm talking about my favorite game!

My favorite game is called "Metal Gear Solid" series and I have played all work. This game is about a soldier whose name is Solid Sneak. He fought against big machine which is called Metal Gear which loaded nuclear weapon. This story is partly based on real history such as cold war, the crisis of Cuba. All of series are extremely interesting and impressive. Especially i love its third work, Metal Gear Solid3 ：Sneak Eater. This is about Cold War
,and Sneak tried to break new weapon called ШАГОХОД. However, after he broke that weapon, he fought against his teacher, The Boss. This scene was absolutely impressive. Next year, new series called Metal Gear Solid V the phantom pain will release. I am looking forward to playing it!!

Short-term program of study abroad

Hello, everyone!
Today, I've already been exhausted with only coming to university.

At the beginning of the 2nd semester, I got information about a short-term study abroad.
At first, I thought I would join such a program during the next summer vacation, but I started to guess that my 2nd year college life might be as hard as now.
If so, this spring vacation is perfect, I thought.
This is why I applied for the program, of course with my reasons for the application, my career of English learning, and the history of my going abroad.
I passed, so I am now preparing for it.
This is my first visiting abroad, so I'm excited, but I'm worried about a completely new environment at the same time.
I'm sure that this program will become the first step for the achievement of my goal, with opportunities to use English every day, understand another culture, communicate with people with different backgrounds, and touch different geography.
I will study at University of California, Davis for this program.

Pancake at QUA AINA

I went to QUA AINA to have lunch with Haruka on Wednesday. QUA AINA is a hamburger restaurant which is close to our university. Also, we enjoyed a pancake with splitting the cost. The one we ate was Christmas limited version, so the cost was a little expensive, but we were quite satisfied with the volume and the taste. Until I was told about this restaurant by Shiori and Miwa, I didn’t know that. Since both hamburger and pancake were really delicious, I want to go there with someone^^. It doesn’t take much time to go, so if you want to visit, please check this out.

Terrible happenings

Good morning. This week, I had two terrible and worst happenings, so I'll write about them.

One is when I did the laundry a few days ago.
I put my trousers into my washing machine and pushed the start button, so water started to flow.
Soon after that, I saw something in the pocket unusually, and soon, I identified it as my commuter pass folder!!!
There were my commuter pass and piles of my collection of train delay slips in it.
I rescued them soon, but they had already been wet!
I took away water from them and put them in front of my heater.
The only good thing is that I noticed it very soon, so my commuter pass works.

The other occurred on Wednesday while commuting.
My train stopped working suddenly and didn't start to move soon.
I stayed at the train for a while, but I thought I would be late for my class, so I got off the train and walked to Aogaku!
The station I got off the train at is only two stations before Shibuya Station, so it didn't take so much time to walk from there.
I managed to be able to arrive at Aogaku in time.
Relief! lol

Election

As you know, last Sunday was the election day. Then, I was surprised at the low voting rate. According to the media, the number, 52%, was the lowest one ever since after WWⅡ. In the TV program, some pople who were asked why you didn't vote said that they couldn't think their votes effect on politics. Certainly, this time's election was sudden and  many people are busier than usually in this season. So I wander why the goverments held the election so quickly like many others. However, I think that not voting is different from invalid voting. In my opinion, invalid voting is a kind of expression, while not voting is just a waiver of responsibility as citizen. In addition, if you don't  vote even though you have the right, you shouldn't complain about the govermant.
As I'm 19, I have no right to vote yet and there is few chance to reflain my wishes to politics. This is one of the reasons I was irritated to the people who didn't vote. I don't want to be such an irresponsible adult.

Love Wednesday

 

I love Wednesday because there are only first period class, and after that, I can eat lunch with IE member. Actually, I ate pancakes with some of IE member yesterday! The pncake was sweet and very delicious. I want to go there again.

By the way, I found that there are a few IE class left... I cannot believe that it has been a year since we had met for the first time.  At the begining, I didn't never expect that I could love IE classes like now. I would like to enjoy the classes with you until the end.

Happiness

Yesterday, I had a really good time with my IE friends. Though I couldn't meet my IE friends because of too busy Debate activities,  at last, I got a chance!! So we went to bills which is famous pancake shop! It was very precious time spending with my friends. Chatting with my friends is one of the refreshing way for me. And also, we went to Starbucks where Miyui works. She was working hardly and I was encouraged a lot! Thanks to this day's memory, I'm sure that I will over come my hard homework today.

I love them!

Hi. Today our IE writing class had finished so early, I and some IE friends went out for brunch.
We ate ricotta pancake with fresh banana and honey comb butter at bills. The name is so long and sounds stylish.

It was surprisingly soft and doesn't need much chewing. 

After that, Miyui had part-time job so left members went to Starbucks where she works.
She looked different in her job uniform but really cute as usual.

While we were together, we couldn't stop talking and laughing, and time passed so fast. I always feel relax and fun being with IE members. I cannot believe that we have only few classes left.

a circle

I want to talk about the meaning of a circle.
When I started thinking, the relationship between people had came up at first.
As you know, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics is a big news for us. The symbol of the Olympics discribes the humans relation exactly with five circles. It means mutual union and solidarity between countries.
I think the Olympics is the best opportunity to know that we are all in the same world and related to each other. We can have the same delight and deep emotion by rooting for the athletes.
Many countries from all over the world joins at the same time and become one.
I think circle has many meanings and all of them has endless for its base. 
Relationship between people don't have an end, I believe.

Rehearsal and Dinner

Good evening everyone. 

I'm going to write about yesterday. I rehearsed public performance of the next week in Sagamihara campus. We wore costumes and changed them for  each music early. It is difficult for me to change them early. So I must practice that. 

I didn't drop my baton. So I was happy. But I couldn't keep my face smile while dancing and twirling my bath. I don't want to be nervous. Teach me how I don't feel nervous...

After the rehearsal, I went to eat dinner with a friend of mine. We ate fish and rice casserole. It was so good!! It was hot for a long time because it was heated even while we ate it. I want to eat one again!

BUMP live viewing!

Last Wednesday, I went to a movie theater to watch “BUMP OF CHICKEN WILLPOLIS 2014”. Bump is the name of the music band which is composed of four childhood friends since they were in a kindergarten. I’m a big fan of them since they were still indies position. The movie I watched was mainly about the backstage of Tokyo Dome tour. Because I couldn’t go to that concert, I really enjoyed. Also the film gave me the feeling of being at a live performance.

Bump’s member doesn’t appear on TV very often, so I was surprised when I heard the news that the movie about them were created. One of the famous songs is “tentai-kansoku”. I guess some of this class may know about that. All of their songs have deep meaning words that attract the listener’s sympathy. Please check them out if you are interested in their songs^^!

Shooting stars

Good morning!

Yesterday late at night (maybe it was today) I watched Geminids.
Though I worked in my part-time job till about 11pm, I and some friends went to square near the beach.
It was extremely cold and I almost lost my senses of hands and toes.
From Twitter I knew the peek was from 9pm to 10pm, so I didn't expect so much but I could see shooting stars clearly!
Since it was first time in my life, I got really excited and forgot about coldness.
Although there was much time to see, I could see them about ten times.
Now I worry that maybe I went through my life time fortune.

Meeting in my high school

Today I had a meeting of the regular concert of the brass band in my high school. I will join and help this concert as a graduate.
We checked the schedule of the concert and progress of preparation for it. I thought the preparation is good thanks to the nice work by juniors. Also, I recieved the music score of the number which I'm going to play. It is "Festival Variations."

If you have ever belonged to the brass band, you may know this. It is really difficcult. I wonder if I can play it well. I don't have enough time because I don't belong to the brass band now and there aren't so many days to practice in the high school.
I'm looking forward to the concert and I will do my best to make it better.

fashionable atmosphere

Last day, my friend gave me an early birthday celebration with Kodai's together.
We went to illy which was new opened recently in Shibuya. The appearance and the interior decoration was very stylish. Inspite of the atomosphere, prices were reasonable and we had a delicious time.
I felt like being an adult at a stretch. Next time, I want to go for a lunch there!

Yesterday was a satisfying day. Got up early, took TOEFUL, went to Omotesando Hills...
I felt the time passing very slowly. I didn't have such an full day on usual holidays in this few moths as I remember, so it was a great fun!

Enjoyable Gathering

 On Thursday, I joined the gathering which was held by Obari Adviser Group. This gathering was given for freshmen and certain freshman planned it.

 

 After fifth period, we assembled at the front gate. There were eight people. Then, we were headed for Saizeriya. At Saizeriya, we were almost chatting. Everyone seemed to be in high spirits. I could enjoy talking with them.

 

 I think it is good to hold such gathering. It is because it will give us an opportunity to communicate with various people and we will be able to make friends with many people. So I think gathering plays an important role in making good human relations.

 

the rare activity of my circle

Good evening! I participated in the party of the circle (AOS) for the first grader last Friday. So, I would like to write about my circle and the party.

AOS stands for Aoyama Over Seas. It is the circle for the people who like traveling abroad. Actually, I visited Singapore with the member of it this summer. This circle is so loose that we have activity only about once a month. But we are get along very nicely and our senior are very kind. I love this circle.

This time we went to shabu-shabu restaurant at first. I rarely eat shabu-shabu, so I was very excited. It was delicious. One of the member seemed to eat about 3 dishes only by himself. It was astonishing for all of us except him. After that, we went bowling. It was second time to go it for me. Needless to say, my score was terrible. But it was so fun! I want to practice it and enjoy it more next time.

 

Now we are planning to visit Europe in the spring vacation. I cannot wait for that.

Circle

 I found that the concept of circle is used in metempsychosis. Metempsychosis is the teachings of Buddhism and it means that man’s soul continues to live forever like a wheel of a car after his death by transforming its form. The meanings of like a wheel and transforming form are whenever man’s soul comes and goes between this world and the world after death, it lives with the different body.

 

 I think in metempsychosis, circle means eternity. I also think the concept of circle lies in our daily life. For example, when people talk with their companions, they tend to make a circle. I think this circle represents unity between them. I suppose it means an assembly of people, too.

 I think there are many concepts of circle around us. I suppose they have various meanings.

2014

I'm often surprised at the quickness of the passage of time, and actually, there's only 18 days to go to 2015. Then, I decided to look back on this year.
At first, I think my attitude toward studying was not good. I did just homework. Moreover, I did them just before the deadline and because of it, I often made many mistakes. This problem is clearly related to my bad habit that I don't do what I must do someday even when I have a lot of time. Secondly, I consentrated on my part-time job as well as study. I think my attitude toward it was better than that of studying and I know it's strange. Anyway, I did my best to improve my skill and be trusted. Finaly, I played with my friends more often than ever since I didn't belong to any club or circle and my schedule was flexible.
In concluseion, this year was not so bad since I could enjoy, but I'm sure that I could do more various things during my free time. Therefore, I think that I should give up the bad habit and  be more strict with myself not to waste precious time.

Hi,
When I see a circle, I can imagine a relationship between people.
I think we Japanese always think about it and have an image of circle unconsciously.
And also it important when we communicate with others because as you know, Japan is high context culture country compared with other countries such as America.
When we talk each other, we really care about relationship or connection every time and try to build good one, while people who are in low context culture don't care so much about it and even it is meaningless for them.
I think what one imagine from a circle is related with one's custom( which can be affected by one's religion, culture, or environment) Circle is circle but circle is seen differently from people to people. it is very interesting to see the difference of things that people imagine from a circle.

Circle

Good afternoon. 

I would like to write about circle. 

Circle means bond. When all members of a group do something, they huddle up and form a circle. Members of my club also form circle whenever we perform. We confirm our bond before performance. 

Japanese people feel sense of circle more than other countries, I think. It is important for us and there is kanji, wa. Wa sometimes means Japanese. So Japanese people like circle, I think. 

The circle

Today, I want to think about circle in the Japanese culture.

First, Japanese coin is one of the familiar circle for me. "Yen" means circle in Japan. It is said to be named so because of its shape. But some people says it represent the wish for the peaceful economical relationship through the money.

Second, there is the red circle on the Japanese flag. It is called "Hinomaru" . It represents the sun. Japan decided its design because we can see the rising sun the earliest in the Eurasian Continent. Though it is so simple design, it represent Japan strongly.

Winter stage

Hello, this is Saki.

Last Sunday, I had a lacrosse league. This league was only for freshman. In order to go on to the champion tournament, we had two games. Unfortunately, the first game was versus the team which was a champion in the summer league. We practiced really hard to beat this team, Waseda. In the first half of the game, the score was 2-4. I scored!

At the last minute of the first half. We thought we could win at the moment, but they scored two more in the last half. So we lost. But we were satisfied that we weren't beaten up very badly.

Next game was versus Meiji Gakuin University. We won this game by 2-1. Even though we could not go to the champion, we were so happy that we won! I felt like the team was so united.
