I will explain the six literary terms.
Setting：around the factory and cities, under the serious depression.
Conflict：There is the confliction between social order and human’s freedom. It is very big confliction.
Climax：Chaplin lost his job again and again, but he lived happily with his wife. they lived together, that point is climax,I think.
Symbol：I think job is the symbol of this film. It is because the job means what people need socially. If the company recruit worker at a factory, many people rush. Our feeling are always controled by job under the depression.
irony：Chaplin lost his job finally and ofcourse he and his wife were disappointed at that event. However, they smiled and fostered their love.
Theme：I think theme is “What is the happiness for human?”It is difficult to judge, but the most important is to become happy. Is getting a job and earning a lot of money the only your happiness? It is not true.
There are various types of happiness in the world.
This film tells us that we should broaden our looks and find our happiness.
