Yesterday's dinner

My father is a police man and everyday he works at his office from early morning to night and he fall asleep soon when he lie on bed. Nonetheless he is tired, he prepares our dinner when my mother back home late due to her work.
He started cooking several years ago, and at that time, he cannot make even miso-soup. But now, surprisingly, he is able to make many kinds of dishes, espesialy his Chinese is very yummy!
I love my father's cooking very much as well as my mother's one. I know that I should say thank you to my father every time but I cannot say it because I'm ashamed.
But yesterday, he made Chinese food and other side menues for dinner, and I said thenk you to him. I can remember his smile he showed at that time.
Yesterday, I felt the importance of  saying thank you.
