In
this summer vacation, I did part-time job for the first time. It is because I
wanted to save money and experience part-time job.
My
working term was about two weeks. The job I did was the physical distribution
business. I worked in a warehouse and packed goods. Also I put labels on the
articles. The hard thing was to catch up with the speed of other part-timers.
They worked very speedy and knew how to get things done. But it was very
interesting. I thought this part-time job was a valuable experience because I
can’t do such job in my daily life. Moreover, it was nice that I could see the
process of packing. Maybe, usually, I have little opportunity to see it.
The
working environment was very good. Part-timers and other workers were very
kind. I enjoyed chatting with them during an intermission. To tell the truth, I
was surprised that I could feel comfortable in my workplace. It is because I
was under the impression that an atmosphere of workplace was severe. But I
realized I had wrong impression and I was happy to work in good atmosphere.
Also this made me relax.
I had a
good time in my part-time job. I want to do same job again. I also hope that I
can experience another job while I’m a student.
